If you are a gamer and a fan of the Alien films (particularly the original), you absolutely should play this. If you just love a good scary game, you absolutely should play this.

This is the only horror themed game I have ever played in my life that actually got my pulse up. My wife, is a big horror movie fan, and couldn't even watch me play it because it got her nerves tore up hearing the alien creep around looking for me.

The sound and graphic designs are excellent, gameplay is great. Just get this game.

It's a fun game for a time, but if you aren't comfortable with a LOT of grinding and farming, you probably want to pass on it.

I'd recommend it more if it wasn't full of bugs. The developer has claimed "open beta" status for some 18 months as an excuse to keep releasing untested updates that sometimes border on the unplayable. It has gotten worse with the last few major updates, and the current UI is horrendous. It actually gives me headaches to navigate the new menus. If you can get over those flaws, there's fun to be had here. It's a free game afterall.

Very good gameplay improvements over the first two. The story and voice acting are also top notch. The only issues are the annoying video effects that pop up frequently during the cutscenes. While some are nice touches, like flashing prominate words from dialogue, and showing multiple shots at once, most (blurred vision, color shifts, double-vision, etc.) are annoying, distracting, and can even cause headaches.

It's a good game all around, but you may have to take it in small bursts to avoid headaches from the cutscene effects.
