Natural Selection and NS2 are both fantastic teamplay games that do a lot to create unique gameplay between two entirely different team types. They're both easily worth 9.99, and I have no regrets buying this, even if I rarely play it these days. I will say that I found NS2 a little less compelling than NS1, probably through no fault of the dev(s), but something about it feels...less teamplayish. Whereas before, Gorges effectively were the alien commanders, getting more resources than anyone else, now they're just another soldier in the Kharaa army. This changes the entire gameplay mechanic that made gorges such a valuable thing to attack or defend. With everyone getting the same resource income, there's no longer any "going skulk" to save for hive or upgrades, which was my favorite role in NS1 by far. IDK, man. Seems like a good game, just don't dig all the changes I guess. Still worth your $10 though. Amazing dev that cares about their customers and will never leave you feeling abandoned. Also Charlie Cleveland seems like a very decent person, judging by what he's tweeted over the time I've followed him.

the career mode sucks, which is what i liked about dirt 4 - if you want to do rallycross, you have to do 16 races before you get to a new track - the daily rallycross stuff is just you on a track by yourself lol - i don't see anywhere to change opponent difficulty for career mode - i guess there are more cars, and the rally mode handling felt okay, but who cares when the game itself is poorly designed? not recommended

better than i expected - career mode is nice

It's a good game, actually, but I don't recommend paying anywhere near the asking price of 30. I definitely enjoyed the environmental stuff and getting my bearings for the game was fun but after you do, you are spending more time messing with your inventory than anything else, and you will end up encumbered 80% of the time, which all gets really tedious after not too long.

I don't think I finished it because I got to a certain point where nothing more could really kill me and it's just a matter of walking (extremely slowly) from one place to the other, and I didn't care enough about how the story would wind up to press on.

Pretty great. It's been a while since the original RE days, and this is a vast evolution from that, but still, this game is a return to form, and I think if you enjoyed the original games, you'll like this one as well.

Creative little arcade action game. Lots of fun.

In my opinion, like Civilization, the Total War series towers above most other strategy series. And as 5 was to the rest of the series, this is arguably the most elegant and streamined Total War game yet. Those qualities, however, mean (when compared to Medieval 2, for example) fewer agent types, fewer unit types, and just in general, fewer units littering a smaller map.

All that being said, I think I enjoy this iteration of Total War the best yet, the only other contender being Medieval 2, which takes the opposite approach on complexity and has every type of unit or agent you can imagine. They're both great, but this one I feel is just more *fun* to play. On most TW games, you get about half way through the game and it gets real tedious real quick, with giant armies simply decaying from attrition because you've literally forgotten about them. That doesn't happen as much in Shogun 2, and in general I find the game more focused and interesting. This is a highly recommended game.

Once you realize the only effective way to turn is by drifting, you realize that this game lacks versatility. I will admit it is fun for the first several hours of playing, though. If you can get it for very cheap, and you love racing games, this game's worth it. Overall, however, I'd say don't bother.

If you're familiar with GTA, you'll already know the gist. The first GTA game to attempt to bring a gritty sort of realism to the series, which is both a good thing and bad.

Good: Great graphics. Very good sound and ambiance. More realistic people on the street and police behavior. The game feels very polished and well thought out. Small details make the game very enjoyable.

Bad: The most polarizing issue, which most people consider bad (and so do I) is the vehicle controls. It feels like your steering just has no effect beyond about a 20 degree angle turning left or right. In order to turn, you have to slow WAY down, then steer. And if you mess it up, you're going to spin out...every time. This behavior almost seems less realistic than previous GTA games, but regardless of that, makes driving extremely frustrating. Overall, like most of the previous GTA games, this game is a lot of fun, but it definitely feels like a step down in pure fun and features from the amazing GTA: San Andreas, which has only recently been topped by GTA V, which is just freaking amazing.

One very standout GOOD thing about this game is that it is apparently very moddable. I personally have not done that, but options are good. Overall: Great game, get it when it's in a cheap bundle.

If you found Empire: Total War's controls infuriating, you might give this a shot. They rounded out some of the most rage-inducing parts of the control scheme of Empire, making this playable. You still won't get the fleet-footed troops of Rome of Medieval, but it's still a pretty good addition to the Total War series, which being one of the best game series ever conceived, makes this game very much worth your interest.
