Hey all, been spending my time on a rather odd thing, I built a linux box from spare parts and am trying to get it game-worthy. Got it playing games like Elite Dangerous and CS2 (sorta), but I think the old EVGA GTX660 OC is not up to Source 2 levels. I should be dropping an EVGA GTX1060 SSC in there soon, but it might be a couple of weeks.

Indeed, she is and always has been a fighter.

Oh, yea...I went into the hospital early 2023 for an issue with my legs, spent 6 days in a hospital bed and 3 days after I got home, I showed positive for COVID...I contracted it in the hospital. Incubation times says so.

Now, she is on Immunotherapy Infusions every few weeks to make sure they clean up any stray cancer cells that try to hide in deep tissue, and that could take a year or more. At least it's nowhere near as hard on her health as Chemo. Her hair started to regrow about 2 weeks after treatment stopped, which amazed doctors and nurses.

This will be the second time this hospital has saved her life. The first bout was 12 years ago and was a really a close call. She was given a 10% chance of survival after both her lungs suddenly and without warning, failed from dual severe pulmonary embolisms. They had a new procedure that they had been trained on, but to that day had never used. A week of continuous treatment in Critical Care and then another week in recovery, she was back on her feet.

Yeah, she's a fighter.

So, It's clear that when this is all over, this crazy POS is going to get a royal dressing down and be forced to apologize to all the other people she mis-diagnosed and very probably beg forgiveness to any that believed her and decided not to get treatment. Malpractice doesn't even begin to describe the deep hole she is in. Technically it was barely "Stage 2".


Aside from that, 33 radiation treatments - 1 every day except the 4th of July and weekends - and 4 major rounds of Chemotherapy later - fast forward to Nov 2023 and the first fleeting mention of "remission" could be heard from one doctor, then the next. (There are 7 doctors on her treatment team.) I know how fickle cancer can be when "remission" is first mentioned...so we had to wait for another two PET Scans and another biopsy to get to the moment where they said, "Well, we think we killed it."
