Children of Morta is a great Action RPG where you take control of a family of heroes, each of whom has their own combat style and abilities. The game’s presentation is in a pixel style, but looks incredible this way. I often took moments in-between fights to enjoy the views within the different areas you traverse.

At first the game felt a bit like a test for me - several times I died and I had to restart the level, but after completing the first dungeon, the game became quite simple and I no longer had to make as much of an effort as the akill and leveling system make a difference. Throughout the entire game you’ll take part in minor tasks, dialogs, and collectibles such as diaries and souvenirs. The balance of the characters is simply excellent and each member of the family is equally strong. The game requires switching between heroes during the journey and this makes it possible to discover unique abilities for all characters, as well as having characters suffering from exhaustion. The music is non-intrusive, but after 20 hours it starts to become bothersome.

Children of Morta captured me from the very first minute, and even after beating the last boss, I continue to play it trying to unlock the rest of those achievements. I definitely recommend this game for purchase!.
