EDITED:
I'm rewriting my review of Grim Dawn after 426 hours of Playtime. At the time of my previous review, I had 36 hours of played time and I was over the moon about the game. Nothing has changed. After seeing what gaming has become over the last few years, with unfinished releases, constant updates to make a game whole, and more tom-foolery, I can without any doubt say this might be my favorite game, that comes as a full finished package upon purchase. Grim Dawn's class system is rather in depth, compared to just picking your normal Berserker, Marksman, Mage type of classes. It allows you to choose 1 mastery at level 2, and another at level 10, making for whatever combination of 2 masteries that you choose, thus making a class. The gearing in this game is also very good, with tons of gear supporting many different build types. I can say after 400+ hours that this is, my favorite ARPG on the market. It's not as fast paced as some of it's competitors, I will admit that, however what it provides in absence of speed it provides in quality of quests, lore, exploration, gameplay, loot, and devotions.
Needless to say at this point, but I HIGHLY recommend Grim Dawn and it's expansions.
