Extremely well-polished game with insane production values in every aspect. 10/10 graphics and visual/sound design, great performance considering the visuals, very smooth gameplay, incredible quality and variety of bosses. Level design is better than I expected, the game has tons of branching paths and quite a few secrets big and small. No microtransactions whatsoever. Only downsides are invisible walls everywhere and a somewhat limited moveset on the monke. Play it.

Really fun when it works, they should let Reddit design more games

Has a fraction of content of other RGG games, main story is forgettable and side stories uninspired, Joryu is (still) a boring main character and much less fun in combat than Yagami.
The Coliseum is the only above average thing about this game, and even that is soured because no enemy can handle simply zooming back and forth in agent style.

It's a filler arc, skip it.

A valiant attempt at a fully open world Niohlike. While outdated and mediorcre Souls combat drags it down considerably, Elden Ring's vast, varied and beautiful world is worth exploring. Once, at least. I suspect its sheer size will make repeat playthroughs feel like a chore.

Slowly but surely the developers have been making the game better. The gamebreaking bugs are gone, they added 2 new civs for free and updated the old ones, added some other content like taunts, masteries, cheats, game modes etc. Game's pretty sweet now. Oh and a new expansion is coming out

Like building LEGO spaceships but you don't have to imagine them flying around blasting other spaceships, you get to do it. Plus a tournament mode where you watch the AI answer your "who would win" questions. Video games are fun.
