--Valheim is a breath of fresh air in the world of copy and paste games released.

It is early access so there are some bugs to be fixed which is to be expected, for $20 you get a literal world of content, the boss fights are very intuitive, building a base with all of the different options gives millions of different possibilities. The beginning of the game has a learning curve and is a little bit slow, on top of that the tutorials (The Crow) don't help out too much so the crafting system is challenging on the other hand it is very rewarding. Each "day" In the game I find myself doing something different. One day I will dedicate to gathering wood, iron scraps, blood bags for potions or other items. One day I might spend scouting for all the caves in a area for the better loot drops, the "caves." I have found are listed as follows in burial chambers, troll caves, crypts.

As of now I have 37 hours in the game and have only defeated two of the five bosses. Although I am definitely not making the bosses my main objective day in and day out.

- - Roommate sees me writing this review and says "It's the opposite of fresh air because you're playing that game all day."

Not fun, continuously die to high level monsters while I am low level.

My favorite single player FPS of all time.
