Dieses Spiel ist leider extrem gradlinig erzählt und bietet dem Spieler keine Möglichkeiten abseits der Haupthandlung zu agieren. Damit könnte man sich anfreunden oder abfinden, wenn wenigstens eine gewisse Tiefe in den Charakteren, besonders dem eigenen liegen würde. Man bekommt zu keinem Zeitpunkt ein Gefühl der Bindung zu Tommy, man kann sich gar nicht mit ihm identifizieren. Es wird beiläufig erwähnt, wie er in der Familie aufsteigt und so weiter, aber bekommt man das auch mit? Leider nein.
Es fehlen auch völlig die Möglichkeiten den Charakter zu personalisieren oder die eigenen vier Wände, die man ohnehin nur ganz selten in Zwischensequenzen zu Gesicht bekommt. Zu "guter" Letzt erschlägt einen auch das abrupte Ende. Wirkt sogar erzwungen und herbeigeeilt.
Die Freifahrt ist nahezu sinnlos und bietet nichts Neues, genauer gesagt einen Anreiz.
40€ für ca 12 Stunden Spiel, ist schon ordentlich. Ich kenne ja die gradlinige Erzählweise von Mafia 2, aber dort hatte man doch mehr Abwechslung und Bezug zu den Charakteren.
Fazit: Mafia DE ist ein sehr kurzweiliges Spiel, mehr ein interaktiver Film, der nicht wirklich überzeugen kann und schon gar keinen Widerspielwert hat. Die Story ist zu einhundert Prozent klischeelastig und wenig bis gar nicht abwechslungsreich. Empfehlen kann ich dieses Spiel eigentlich niemandem. Vor allen nicht denjenigen, die Mafia gespielt haben und es liebten. Ich empfehle da doch viel eher Mafia 2 zu kaufen, der Besitz beinhaltet die DE des Titels, zumindest habe ich ihn umsonst erhalten. Mafia 2 (Standard-Edition) ist mehr Spiel und bietet bei Weitem die bessere Unterhaltung und Atmosphäre.

My first Batman game and I'm more than happy I went for it. Well designed map, intense gameplay, easy to play even for a beginner in that genre. I'm not suffering from any performance issues, can approve the game has been patched to perfection after a bad start on PC. If you see this on sale for a few coins, get it.

I loved this CoD. It was the first enjoyable CoD since Black Ops 2.

About three weeks ago, there was an update. It added microstutter to me. Never got fixed ever since.

Now this huge overhaul....
I do not have any issues with the changes on divisions, I actually don't care. What I do care about is the unlimited sprint you guys added. WTF? What were you thinking? This is killing the game for me, I hate players running around like headless chickens. Your change on sprint supports this style of gameplay. More players running around with knives and shotguns, pissing other players off. Unlimited sprint.... on such small maps? Good Job! This game had the potential to be the first CoD since BO2 that doesn't die after a few weeks, at least on PC. And now this. CG devs, you killed it. You made a promising game unenjoyable.

One good thing I have to mention: I'm so glad i didn't buy the season pass. At least I "only" wasted 55€ in the end.

Thanks again to the devs, I hope you're proud of your work.


Update: I'm glad to say unlimited sprint doesn't have such big impact on gameplay after all. Of course there are more players now playing the game in way that makes me frustrated, but the majority still plays WW2 how it was supposed to be played: With a bit of proper sense and tactic.
Yet, microstutter and other connection problems excist since this one update almost two months ago. Meanwhile there are updates every few days, none of them fixed this issue.

Another update: I just realized it says I have a few hours only on record. It's a couple hundreds, check my profile.
I also want to mention something else here. I'vebenn running into a huge amount of cheaters recently. That wasn't a problem from the beginning, so another example of how VAC and the Devs fail recently. I highly recommend everyone to report cheaters via their Steam profile. I did several times and got notifications from Valve that actions been taken against some profiles aka players. I wouldn't trust the ingame report, since I never received any notification plus I met cheaters which I reported ingame over and over again.

Immersive and intense. All I`ve ever wanted and all Bf1 did not deliver. This is THE WW1 shooter adult and serious players been waiting for.

One of the greatest games I've ever played. Gameplay, music, scenerie, story, everything about it is thrilling and THE ♥♥♥♥! Only thing I regret so far is that I haven't bought it way earlier. Steam Punk ftw!

Hong Kong. Period!

Just played an hour+, yet sure this is one of the most thrilling games I've ever played! Looks awesome, sounds intense, lets the player dig deep into the scenerie.
Perfectly playable alone in the dark ^^.
