Loved the theme, gameplay, and whole vibe. But by the end, it started feeling way too repetitive. I kinda rushed the ending because I was getting tired of it. Gonna keep this one installed in case a cool update drops, but as it is now, I'm done with it

Cool game if you enjoy hot demons and emotional stories. It feels a bit empty and way too simple, with lots of nice ideas thrown away. Don't buy it if you're not into the story; there's nothing gameplay-wise that you haven't seen before.

Best Final Fantasy ever!

This game makes the first one look like E.T. for the Atari. 10/10

First off, I finished the game after the third big update, and even then, the performance was poor at times (I can remember three parts where it happened, always when the scenario had a heavy fog effect). I found a bug with a lever that's been happening for quite some time, and I had to delete some files in my save folder just to progress. The combat is funny—I enjoyed it—but at times it was frustrating. The enemy is always walking backwards, and you almost never land your full combo because of that, and the archers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ snipers; if you come across one and try to run, they will keep on firing at you even though they're not on the screen.

So why am I recommending this game full of bugs? Because it’s fun. It has a lot of soul; you can see all the work the devs have been through. This game is worth playing, if not for the entertaining story, then for the amazing stop-motion animations. I loved what they did and I hope they can continue.

You’ll enjoy it if you want an experience, more than just a polished platformer full of flashy mechanics. People have been creating mods to make ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games work and praising them as good games, so I see no problem in recommending an indie game with flaws. You think it's unforgiving? Go ahead, use some cheats and keep on going. It’s a fun experience, and it’s worth it on sale.

Awesome game. Loved the story, incredible soundtrack, and it doesn't overstay its welcome.

I'm so glad I bought this game and waited for the 1.0 release. It's awesome! The soundtrack, combat, platforming... it all makes me want to download Warrior Within and replay it (after I finish this one ofc ). I'm kinda tired of roguelite games, but this one has enough magic to keep me going.

I liked how the game started, but everything went downhill to the point where I was begging for it to end.

I didn’t like most of the game, but I’d still recommend it (on sale). To keep it short, a lot of it felt more like a walking simulator than survival horror (about two-thirds). The last part was really cool, but even then, it leaned more into psychological horror than survival horror. So, calling it "survival horror" doesn’t quite work for me. That said, it’s fun, short, and worth checking out if you’re into Silent Hill-style games.

A big let down

Simple and fun! I didn’t mind any bugs I found :) the game is so fast that they never got frustrating. It’s not a deep experience, just pure, mindless shooting.
