First of all, I'm NOT a "souls" series fan and din't played any of them. Also I dropped Bloodborn after ~15 minutes as I found it feels like bad replica of old Nightmare Creatures.
With this being said I has to be sceptic about Sekiro but being fan of "Shinobi" series (Mega Drive) and stylistics, I downloaded free copy to try being seen two small gameplay videos on YT. After playnig ~1.5h I found it's amaizing enough to start search for Collector's Edition (yeah, that was naively). Not finding Collectible I purchased the game in Steam.

This game is really amazing and I can surely say it's at least one of the best games for last 10-15 years. 👍

• Contrary loud screams about "broken hitboxes" I can say that it's not, leastways on PC. Hitboxes isn't as small as in many games, but I never made or got hit outside of humanoid figure (some huge monsters may have fuzzy boxes).

• the game is very atmospherical in everything (yeah, there is a kind of strange "sinobi" concept that's closer to Samurai... but it's only historical and not affect on game integrity).

• it's variable enough (again, contrary to loud voices) and let player to use different tactics to complete the tasks.
Still the game was made with an eye to stealth so I strongly recommend to use this style at least for the first fighthrough

P.S. It's not as hard as many people believe, but it induce you to learn and to play smart with open eyes (as well as mind).
Or to swot timings and movements if you're too clumsy. 䞿 :P

P.P.S. aaand this game goes as my "GOTY" 2019 Steam nomination. :]
