game logic is tied to FPS, rendering it increasingly unplayable at framerates above 60

high fps displays aren't an exotic novelty. mine is 9 years old, almost as old as the original nier.

upd: patch 1.03 which was supposed to fix this has tanked the framerate to 48 for me, whereas before it was in the 90s. that's on a 2080ti.

It has some imaginative ideas, but it's jank as hell. Also the trailers are super misleading.
