I expected a top-down space ARPG game (like Star Valor), while the game is much more story/exploration driven. I mean true exploration: you'll need to read the quests and hints to find what you could be looking for. Most of the time not fighting is a valid option. Some 4X elements (exploration, fighting, ship building, diplomaty, trading, tech tree). A pleasant relaxing journey.
One could wish a better replayability with a random universe, events and quests.

I forgot to review this indie jewel, let's fix that. 85+ hours of joy. I could just wish modding was a bit easier :)

Yes, I recommend this game! Careful might be addicting.

Last Epoch, patch after patch, is getting my favorite arpg. It's merging most of what I enjoyed from DIII, PoE, Grim Dawn with its own personal touch on some skills, crafting system...
I'm looking forward the new endgame system and the last classes.
I hope multiplayer & trading won't break the equilibrium.
I wish they add modding support (really wish!)

Do you know the first thing any sane wise arpg player does when s/he creates any character: bind "force movement" to left click and avoid to bind any other attacks/spells to left click. So that you can move freely without attacking mobs around.
Guess what here: you can't rebind left click at all. And you can't bind the first spell shortcut (they are limited by the way) to something else than left click. Which force move to where you click or attack if it's an ennemy. The noob trap. LET THE PLAYER DECIDES.
It wouldn't be so bad except the game is intented to be played with a gamepad (which is natively supported). The way you're supposed to dodge & hit ennemies is oriented for gamepad or wasd (not supported); not for mouse+keyboard.

Except for the Warhammer lore (which I don't really care), this game, whatever the work & love developpers have put in it, can't stand on any aspects against PoE (free and next expansion next week...), DIII or even Grim Dawn.

Game crashed (it can happen) but it lost my save entirely, not even a restart from the beginning of the level. It shouldn't happen.
So even if the game seemed wonderful so far, this ruined my experience to the point I'm not sure I want to keep playing.
