It's great, on one condition, if you can connect to the server. If you can't, enjoy hours of racing with idiotic bots or spending your time in speedzones. The amount of cars available is a great part of this game. One thing that could be otherwise improved in this game is probably much interesting race tracks and events but that is my own opinion. Play this game for yourself to truly understand the joy of it, one thing that could improve was probably making rewarded Credits less, as when you are building vehicles it truly feels more rewarding when you can buy a car or a part, and also it pushes players to further use the pretty detailed tuning system for a bit of advantage.

This game is great overall, but it could've been a lot more bigger if EA spent more money to add more content, cars or maybe map expansion packs to the game to extend the amount of content available to this otherwise great but neglected game.

If you like need for speed, please kindly avoid this game, as cheap as it is, the gameplay is painful, the cars feel like moving construction equipments, even a lamborghini handles like a dumptruck with a full load. There is no customization options such as color, body parts etc even thought the original 2005 version has way more customization options than the original game. If you truly wish to have a good experience with this game, modding it is your best bet. If you want a good need for speed, heat (great game, but very short and vehicles are very easy to upgrade) and payback (payback feels awful and boring to play, but at least the cars don't handle like ♥♥♥♥).

The Game feels just meh, the history of the company makes it even worse. Comparing with Terraria, Starbound feels more lackluster not in items or planets but in core gameplay, the progress was annoying at best, the movement is pretty clunky and not ideal for shooting at bosses and such. Mods were needed to make the progress of the game acceptable, so yeah. The idea was good, but the execution was horrible overall.

Despite how farming centered the game is, the game can be played anyway (sort of) and requires a good amount of knowledge on the game as a whole. The currency of the game, platinum isn't locked behind a paywall like every other mobile game is but instead of a free wall that requires several thousand litres of bloodshed and time. This game isn't for people who only want to see the numbers of your speedometer fly up, rather this game would most likely appeal to audiences of either manchilds doing something they can't do at a daily basis as they might be financially gone for life or teens who are trying to decompress their urges of destroying things.
