i really, REALLY hate giving this game a negative review. like i truly do.
the game is genuinely INSANELY fun and the art is gorgeous, but like all of the other negative reviews have said it is insanely buggy. i wanted to give it a chance since i caught it on sale, i love dogs, and simulator style games! like i said the elements have SO much going for it, its genuinely an amazing game, the amount of bugs just make it unplayable. :( as someone who finds bugs in games to be funny and amusing, that is quite a feat.
dogs break, objects break, and ESPECIALLY ai breaks. about 50% of your time playing is going to be spent fighting broken objects, or restarting the game in an attempt to fix it--which sometimes just /doesnt/ work. this all unfortunately ruins the fun to be had with this game. :(
i know so many reviewers have been pleading for the devs to fix the bugs, and considering the age of the game i doubt it will happen, but it would genuinely be amazing to see this game get fixed and become playable. it really does have so much going for it.

if youre looking for a good story, this game is NOT for you. but if that's something you can overlook, this game makes up for it tenfold with the gameplay. both solo and multiplayer are super fun experiences, especially if you play with a friend. some of the harder difficulties (and the mercenaries) honestly make a pretty damn funny voice chat. the residents be jumpin' you. 11/10

i don't have much to say other than i really loved this game. my god. i'd been putting off playing it for months but when i finally launched it i couldn't help but to binge it all in one sitting. 11/10
