Wow, this is BY FAR, the best game I've played in a loooong time. And I only just started cuz there is new game plus(basically endless).

I am having a rough time right now and normally at times like these I would play calm games, but I am too restless for that. I wanted to play something ultra violent, something like Doom. But Doom is really frustrating for me, so that also didn't help, I had this game way before my life took a bad turn and I already loved it back then. But I got stuck at a certain boss, so I gave up for six months, then came back again when it was released from Early Access.

The game had only gotten better and thanks to the new options added, I could finally beat that boss and could play more of this amazing game. It was absolutely worth it. This game is worth every penny. It can be hard, but not unforgiving. There is always a way to get through a level. Plus it's not as annoying as other roguelikes; when you die you dont have to start all the way from the start, you just lose your weapons but you keep the money and you just have to start that level over again.
If you're stuck on a level you can also play the(highly addictive)arena mode. By playing this you cannot only get the frustration out of your system, but you can also earn coins that you can then use to upgrade yourself, or even get a pet that heals you, or attacks for you!
You can also play a pokemon minigame in which you can find pills that can make the game easier, but watch out! Using too many pills, just like in real life, can have nasty side-effects! I personally didn't like this minigame so i turned it off. Yeah, if you don't like the minigames, you can simply turn them off but I highly recommend playing at LEAST the mario-like minigame. It's really fun, not that hard and you can earn some extra coins while playing it.
All in all this game is absolutely perfect. If I really have to say ANYTHING negative about it, it would be that the hitboxes, especially with power-ups feel a bit off. it really sucks if you die when you're basically on a health orb. But like I said, thats a minor issue and it wasn't so bad that I couldn't finish the game, so?

10/10 Absolutely recommended!! I also recommend joining the discord, the community is really nice and if you're stuck they will help you out. Everytime a boss beat my ass they would tell me a strategy or just simply motivate me.

This game is one of the best games i've played recently and that's saying something.

Even though the game is 10 (!) years old, it still looks great! The audio is a bit messy sometimes though, like "interrupted" dialogues ending too early or that dialogues skipping, but those are minor issues.
The gameplay is awesome, you play as an assassin who actually doesnt have to kill ANYBODY in this game. However I found this out way too late(I thought stealth kills were cool too). But hey, this gives me a reason to play the game again since this will give me a different ending and different dialogue.
I love how open this game is. No it's not open world, but you can play a mission any way you like. Yeah you can stab someone in the back, OR you can just poison them, knock them unconscious etc etc etc. The choice is yours. The characters are all great too and I got really attached to them and well... Never mind, play it for yourself ;)

After more then 80 hours of playing, I've finally had enough. No, not in a positive way. For months, friends and family have been begging me to quit playing. I would get angry, I would hit things and kick my desk out of frustration, I would yell in Discord about it. But I didn't want to quit. I wanted to get 5 platinum stars, I wanted to at least get gold medals on the C4H's that were doable. However, I also want to play games again that are ACTUALLY fun. Plus I have put so much time in it, I can't say I wasted my money on it.

But seriously; DON'T waste your money on it. This game is the most unfun, unfair piece of ♥♥♥♥ I've ever played. The first one was hard, unfair at times, sure. But this one takes the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cake. In the first one you had your own restaurant and some things on the side and it was frustrating sometimes, but it was ya know. Doable. And fun.
Here however, your own restaurant IS the thing on the side. There are no stakes. You could play that mode endlessly and get platinum stars, because there are no quests for that. The mode they focus on now is Chef 4 Hire and tbh that mode is only fun if you're a completionist. Make ONE mistake and your chance of getting a gold medal on that shift is gone. Every shift has to be a perfect day, In the beginning it may seem doable, but as you progress it becomes borderline impossible. How is this any fun?! You could be doing everything perfect and then make one mistake at the end of the day and you can start all over again.

TL;DR; buy the first game and stay FAR away from this game unless you like incredibly frustrating games

Even though I still sometimes have trouble beating evne the first floor and haven't unlocked the other pyramids yet and have never seen a boss even, I still really really enjoy the game and keep getting better at it. Fun, quick, but not as easy as you think(or maybe i just suck. probly that)

This game isnt for everyone. But if you like chill games and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with a car, I highly recommend this game. It's a really nice experience and the random generation helps too! There's only one thing; I'm playing at peaceful now because I couldn't stand those terrifying screaming bunnies. I think theyre unnecessary. If you add some survival mechanics later in the game that's fine(like needing to drink every so often)but I really don't think this game needs enemies.

I have many hours in this game, but mostly because I started over again after I stopped playing 5 years ago. I remembered hating it and trust me, I still do. But I did get better at the game, so that's a plus.

So why do I hate this game? It's BORING. The only thing you do in this game is shoot bad guys, shoot wild monsters in the area and occasionally you collect things that you can make a gun of...which you can shoot with. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against FPS games. I like Far cry 3, I liked Fallout 3 and New Vegas. But you know what they had? A good story and other fun things to do. This game doesn't. You can drive a car I guess but its not that exciting and it controls awfully. The graphics are bland and make me want to take a nap and the story is forgettable.
Its also immensely frustrating sometimes. And its not like i need to "git gud" its REALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying when you just got downed by a guy but you have a chance to shoot him aND just as you almost kill him(after the game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ didnt detect your shots) you get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sent back again. I hate this game and even though I have gotten better at it in those five years, I still don't like it. I finally beat it and I'm glad, so now I never have to touch this game again.

One of my favorite games of all time. This game is perfect for me because I like endlessly exploring and I don't mind doing the same thing over and over again. They also really improved the game since it came out, I'm glad to see a company that doesnt just give their customers a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ product and leaves.

That said, I don't think this game is for everyone and I CERTAINLY don't think the game is worth 55 bucks. Get this on sale though and you get a sweetass game that will keep you occupied for a looong time :D

really fun gory multiplayer shooter! its really addictive and you can play this for hours and not be bored. only annoying thing is that it crashes sometimes, but there are solutions for that!

(you can also play single player but multiplayer is easier + more fun)
