Early Access Review
one of the best solo survival games. imagine the sims meets the walking dead, but with more mechanics then you may think. Each life you pick what you want that life about, you can build a house from the ground up, you can be a gun toting zomboid slayer, you can go live in the middle of the forest if you really wanted to. I would consider Project Zomboid the perfect zombie sandbox game. Then when you also include the mods that the community has created, the game gets even better. Mods that add entire new cities with architecture not seen in a vanilla world. Mods that fundamentally change what sort of weapons you can either build or get lucky enough to find. The beauty of this game is dying and starting over, because then you get the chance to try different traits and occupations that will completely change that run, because each run is different, the loot you find will be different. One life you will feel like you are the luckiest person alive and the next you will have to make your own luck. Did I even mention that this game has a story? You learn of a infection that has overtaken Kentucky and presumably the rest of the world, through watching television stations you learn the horrors of what is happening.

and look if you think you want to get this game, but you are worried that you are going to die, just know you will die. It is not a bad thing to die though, because not only does it teach you new mechanics on how you can live longer, but also its something that will eventually just happen to you. It happens to everyone, because every time you load up a new game it tells you on the screen "this is how you died".
