As a native to Idaho, they did great with this DLC. I used to deliver wholesale goods in many places between Sun Valley, down to Twin Falls, most towns from there to Pocatello, and then up near the Tetons; basically most of south-eastern Idaho. The way the developers trimmed down the scale but also keeping the best parts of the drive is just amazing. If you love beautiful geological structures and gorgeous forests, this is for you. It offers some of the best things about Idaho into a nice scaled down package. My personal favorite part about the DLC is driving through Massacre Rocks right before Pocatello; this area holds a ton of personal value to me, and western America as a whole due to the Oregon and California trails passing through it. I have to give mad props to the developers for including a Register Rock sign there; it's a small detail but gives people a reason to google up what it is. A lot of people who live near the area don't even know it exists, which is a shame. It's a boulder where pioneers etched their name and the year of their visit, creating a link between us and the real builders of western America, whom so often get forgotten to history. Thank you, SCS, for highlighting the beauty of this state!

Best history-based RPG on the market, IMO. The limitations due to a low budget and small team can become obvious, but the gameplay ideas (which were executed pretty well even with limitations) , the passion, and the attention to historic detail, are what put this game among the greats of niche gaming, or even RPGs in general. If you can push past the beginning of the game where the combat is really rough, you'll get used to it and become better and better; turning the combat from something you may try to avoid, into something you're itching for later. The combat system is the #1 thing that turns new players away; this is NOT a power fantasy. You play as Henry, a commoner with the starting role as a blacksmith's apprentice. Henry barely knows how to properly swing a sword, and that might be pushing it. The overall gameplay mechanics, and your skill with them, make this apparent from the VERY beginning. In terms of combat, there are two things that come into play with the difficulty: Henry's own skills, and the player's knowledge. Once you level up and get better skills and equipment, as well as obtaining a better understanding of the combat, that initial frustration will rarely appear in the future. Definitely utilize Bernard in Rattay for combat training, he will teach you one of the best combat skills in the game, the Master Strike, and he will help you become a little more comfortable with the basics. All in all, I highly recommend this game for someone wanting to immerse themselves in a middle age world with great RPG elements and a satisfying progression system. It's a slow burn, but it's so, so worth it.

I loved this game. Been playing every AC as them came out since 2 so I understand the complaints that are thrown onto this game, some of which I agree on. The main one being that the game has too many boring/repetitive side quests, which drags the game on longer than it should. If you're thinking about getting this, get all the expansions with it, they're amazing. Legacy of the First Blade is a treat if you're into the AC lore.

Good game with friends, but only half the game is available without having to wait over 15 minutes to play as killer. If you're getting this game because you're mostly excited to play a cool killer, well, you might be able to. Start the queue and go on a family vacation and actually have fun doing that while the game is still in queue.

After going into this game with moderate expectations, I can safely say this game was the biggest surprise for me this year. If you like Star Wars (like me) and "Souls" like games (also like me), I would definitely recommend it. The exploration feels pretty fulfilling and the chemistry between Cal and BD-1 always left me with a smile. The game has its issues and its bugs here and there, but it wasn't enough to pull me out of the experience. The game just needs steam achievements as of right now.

amazing 9/10

Compared to Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2 is equally as amazing. It lost a little bit of the RPG feeling, however, with the combat improvements, it makes up for it greatly. The cover system is a lot better and the skills are just a lot easier to use, especially when it comes to the squadmates. The player would just have to press Q or E to make that specific squatmate use a power. The music is stunning, as always. If you like Star Wars KOTOR or anything made by BioWare, you will love Mass Effect. 10/10

The Ship is a very fun game, to an extent. The Single Player version of the game is okay but can get annoying at times. However, if you're playing with a friend, this game can almost never get boring, especially with the different game modes.
