here's the quick review from me:

GRAPHIC:
gorgeous, absolutely stunning, and there's a wide range of graphic setting for you to tweaks for a better performance (or for you to max it out), the lighting is awesome, Lara hair more realistic (pure hair setting off makes lara hair blocky like that ps3 version of tomb raider back then, turn the settings on makes the similar effect as tressfx, and turn it to very high to make the hair more realistic and a lot more than just on). Lara on cutscenes is so detailed, maybe the actress are using Mocap too makes the face expression more believable? texture i think good, not too good like HD texture in Shadow of Mordor, but yea good..

SOUND: Loud and Sound Real, i'm using Razer Chroma at 40% and the sound of this game nearly give me goosebumps, the ambiance, the weapon sounds, music, it is epic

STORY:
i'm not finish it yet, and i'm not play the X1 of this game, so i'm not see all the story, but so far the story isn't too good, but not bad either. it's just ordinary, the main villain not having a strong character development (so, just typical bad guys, not too memorable) i think in this game, the strong point developer want to show us is lara back story, i dunno..

PERFORMANCE:
im using 8gb ram, GTX 670, i7 3770. crank it on all very high setting, aniso on trilinear, and antialiasing FXAA. getting a non stable performance, i'm getting 60fps when indoor but stabilize at 47-55fps, indoor moderate visual area at 35-45fps, and visual heavy are at 30-38 or even drop at 25-28. i think this game isn't too optimized for pc, many stuttering and occasional FPS drops, freezing too, even after i turn all the setting to LOW..!! it is just a bad port, but not as problematic port like arkham knight, it is maybe because my spec isn't too good. from what i heard, my friend which is using 980 ti, having steady 60fps at all setting on max..!! but on many reviewers who using 970 or 950 VGA cards they're having trouble to get a steady 60fps, it's always have a bad stuttering and FPS drops..!! so yeah, i think this is not a great pc port.

GAMEPLAY:
this game been redesigned too encourage player to use stealth more often, because they DUMBED down the AI so much.. i mean, wtf? and from what i heard, you can even finish the game without killing anyone ( i read it at game-debates if i'm not mistaken), the weapon/tools/ammo craft/upgrade system is a bit complicated since the resource is more diversified, and now you can craft a special arrow, and more handcrafted handheld item on the go. the rest is just the same formula.. you can run and gun, or stealth like a ninja,. yeah it's okay. the expedition mode is also good, but not addictive like mordor challenges. the microtransaction (i dunno, is it micro or not, just affecting expedition mode), you can use credits you earn to buy card pack, and that card pack can alter your strength and weakness in expedition mode, bla bla bla..

OVERALL:
this sequel is the most definitive Tomb Raider, Great Graphic, Epic Sound, good story. more Tomb more raiding, but the puzzle is a bit too easy, too user friendly (you can play in survivor mode to get a more realistic challenge though), the gameplay formula is a refined formula used on tomb raider 2013, so i think not a problem. the only problem in this pc version is just the PERFORMANCES issue, it's a BAD optimization, or maybe because DENUVO DRM?? i think the developer are getting a bit lazy and more lazy now, they just want to make more money, but with selling a bad port games and they are too greed, they're paranoid to lose profit so they use DENUVO.

i give the games score:

60/100

do i reccomend to buy it?
for people who never play X1 version: YES
for people who have good or better rig: YES
for people who have decent or nearly outdated Rig: yes or no, it's your choice.
for casual gamer: since you can't try ROTTTR (pirver) because the DRM, you must buy it or wait 1 year to have this game on cheap discount (70-80% dic? maybe) or two year. the choice is yours.

ARE THIS GAME WORTH TO BUY?
IF you love LARA like i do, it is WORTH it.
IF you are have a decent rig, just give it a try, if not good enough just REFUND.

love this game, and buy 3 of 4 DLC (i'm not sure it's worth it or not)..
so here is my review:

Positive:

- great physic, simple but complicated games..
- love the graphical details..
- nice customization, but i think there's should be more customization for your cars.
- performance is good
- community is friendly
- join game is very fast almost all the time

Negative:

- sometimes the server down or having connection problem (my internet connection is fine!) mid game!! that suck, and all the player in the match having issue too!! (so this is clearly a server problem!)
- Lag
- The DLC is not that awesome..
- all cars feel the same, the dev should be considering a different play style for cars, muscle cars, exotic, etc.. the cars must have a different feeling and have a different specialization and weakness.. not just cosmetic!! (BUT DONT MAKE THIS GAME PAY TO WIN)
- THE LOW SOUND!! the atmosphere isn't too good when the SOUND is so LOW..!!!! FIX it.

so the + and - is complete, now the overall rating and recommendation.

- are this a good game?
Yes
- is this game worth to buy?
Yes, but wait for the discount.
- is the DLC good?
depends on the taste, but i think it's not worth it to buy full price (wait for discount)
- Graphic?
Good, nice lighting and sharp detail.
- is this game will be alive in a long time?
it depends, if the dev keep this game up to date and add many new features and content everytime, it will be alive..
- how's the connection?
average, sometimes bad, the server isn't top notch server. sometimes you'll be disappointed by the connection issue.


OVERALL RATING:

i enjoy played this game, buy the DLC's, and play with friends makes this game more FUN..
the issue only from Server problem, LOW SOUND, and not-too-good-DLC

i reccomend you buy it when this game on sale..
but, whatever...
it's a decent game.. and very addictive.

i think this is a perfect Diablo-esque Clone ever made..
-gameplay is great, the skill all good, the class is diversified
-loot, loot, and moooooarr loot... loot galore...
-the graphic is good, but not great, but i don't complain..
-the performance is good, but sometimes it's drop to 47fps if the screen is all full of creatures and monster casting their own skill..
- decent story
-although here i just played 2,3 h, i've been played this over for 80 hours in non steam TL2..
-in my personal opinion, TORCHLIGHT 2 is better than Van helsing series, grim dawn, path of exile, etc
- titan quest is almost as good as this i think.
- overall i think this is a very well made diablo-esque games i ever played.

recomended to buy, and now (27 dec 2015) is a winter sale, grab this game, fast..!! cheap, cheap,cheap...

epic 2d fighting games..
there's an option to buy the premium edition that unlock all characters, but you can do it for free (if u have the time)..
the connection is decent.. but i think there's slight delay when u r hitting other player or being hit by other player.
the performance is good and stable..
and most importantly, NO PAY TO WIN..
so yes, you should try it..
nice gameplay and character design..
i'm noob in this game, but i'm enjoying it..

IT IS FREE..

ok, i just play it for 1 hour,.. why? it's because this game is barely optimized..
i have GTX 670 VGA, i7 proc, 8gb ram (it's decent spec, i played most AAA games with very high seting @45-60 fps steady)
but when i played this games, i just get 10-20 fps..!! that's on medium setting.. on epic setting, i just get 5fps.. the only solution is too crank the setting all to low and resolution scale to minimum, then i get 60fps.. but the graphic is CRAP!! looks like pixelized cartoon.. it's unplayable..!!
this performance issue is ruining a big game.. think twice before buy it..
now i'm refunding this game (pending)..
my advice, don't buy this game yet.. this is a GREAT games, but isn't optimized well by the dev..
play don't starve or any other survival games..
you guys deserves better..

GAMEPLAY:
you must invest the time to play it, get familiar with aim system, movement, recoil, and all else..
because, the other players in this game are all high skilled..
and this game is purely based on skill, and a great skill is not created on 1 night..
the gun on community market is all cosmetic, you don't get advantage over other players, just get the envy,, lol

GRAPHIC:
the graphic? well you know, the graphic basically is 'valve-esque', like portal, l4d,l4d2, HL, cuz it's run on source engine.. it's a great engine and friendly engine for all range of PC.. and i think the optimization is good.. no graphic issue i have ever experienced.,

CONNECTION:
The connection is very good, finding match just taking about 20+ second.. on gameplay? i think there's a minor lag, depends on your connectivity stability or where you are and what server u choose .. my advice, if your ping is 100ms+ dont take this game, cuz i think it will be very disadvantageous..

SOUND:
Amazing, so loud and crystal clear.. although not the best sound i've ever heard, but it's really good.. the mic quality too..

COMMUNITY:
yes, there are always be a TOXIC player, PINOY player, or Other player that always annoying, or targeting you on purpose.. but there also a friendly user., and i think, this game is better played with friends too, like DOTA.



this game is so much fun, i love it (even i just play 18 hours, or basically a noob)..
but don't get a weak minded, CSGO world is a harsh world.. if your mentality not strong enough, you will be turned off in a couples of minute..

Another great game from valve..

yes this is a fun and good game with a great graphic and effects..
but this game hasn't have many feature and maps yet.. bugs, and not a good performance..
comeback when this game is on full release, not now..
i'll reccomend it when this game is have a more content and constant update.
but now, i don't reccomend it.

definitely NO.. first, it's still Early Access, and then they want your money..

the game is still good, it's just the DEV..

so, should you buy it? maybe, if u dont like it just refund.. :)

is it worth it? no, wait for discount or maybe buy next year or two, or three..

the good? solid FPS shooter and enjoyable zombie shooter..

the Bad? MICROTRANSACTION, BAD DEV (they even called "update" a "free content pack", i mean wtf?)

The Worst? GREEDY DEVELOPER., just early access, and there's micro? and this game isn't even free... i think they want rival EA

so i will not reccomend this game now..


REVIEW UPDATE APRIL 2018:

WOW!!! this game is so different now, there are so many maps, and even pvp modes, more perks, more content, and all of it definitely change my opinions of this game 3 years ago, this game has been improved, a lot..!!

YES..!

is it worth the full price?
considering the amount of content, i'd say yes, but KF2 often go on sale, so i recommend to buy it on SALE.

how about my opinion about MT's?
they are just cosmetic, nothing to worry about,. a long time ago i'm against this because the game still on EA and limited content.

I am happy to say that this game is constantly improved with constant update and there's a lot content update now..

about the greed of developer? yeah, i guess they still need money to keep this game up.. :) it's okay get a little bit greedy, as long as the MT not effecting the gameplay.

i love Lara Croft and i glad this game reboot is so awesome...
the gameplay is more immersive than before, the story is just amazing...
the graphic is great, but since i use Nvidia VGA, the TressFx is too demanding and make performance drop everytime i zoom to Lara's hair..
and i think the Story is a bit short.. i want moar.. lol
can't wait to play Rise of The Tomb Raider.. it will be awesome.
and it will be more awesome if it's true open world with no hub like This Tomb Raider, and greatly optimized for PC..

btw, buy this if you like:
-good story
-good gameplay
-fresh Lara

the only thing i didn't like just the TressFx, because this effects is for Ati user, and it makes performance drop on Nvidia user... but not drastic..

recomended..!
