If you like Skyrim and/or Fallout, you'll most definitely love this game. Given that you are into the space setting. It's not as fantastical as Elder Scrolls or chaotic like Fallout, but it's cool.

The only big issue to me is the NPC faces/eyes. The eyes aren't as bad as Andromeda, but they're kind of close. I'd prefer the faces to be more basic/less detailed, because the attempt to make them look as real as possible makes them look unnatural. I'm sure there will be mods to change them anyways.

I've gone through and played through the game three separate times (plus an additional time on NG+) collecting every single spell/weapon/talisman/etc. each time (on one character I collected every single armor piece as well). Having played every FromSoftware Souls-like game, I can say easily that this one takes the cake (the others are excellent as well).

I definitely would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys having fun.

For those scared of Souls-likes/think they are too difficult: Although the game has a single difficulty, there are many different ways to play and different paths to take. You can make the game a lot easier by using summons, avoiding hard bosses until sufficiently leveled up, various cheese strats and builds. So even if you're ass has gotten kicked by other Souls-likes in the past, given Elden Ring a try. It'll still kick your ass at times but you won't feel like your banging your head against a wall stuck on a specific boss.

This game is magical and I can't wait until the DLC comes out. I'll be definitely be creating a new character and replaying the whole game when it does.

Amazing game, amazing original story, great voice acting on the main characters, the musical score is brilliant. I highly recommend this game to any fan of the Elder Scrolls series + any fan of RPGs that enjoys lore/storytelling.

One of the best RPG's ever made and a great callback to the RPG's of the past - all the while utilizing modern graphics and features. Top notch. Buy it now. Larian Studios is awesome!

Addicting. Classic. Remarkable. Competitive.

It really is. Lots of people complain about this or that or how something is unfair but they keep playing because they know it's the best FPS out there and has a dedicated following. Great game!
