After FF7 I was rly excited to play FF8 on steam after unbelievable 15 years :D I remember having loved this game and I was curious what I would think about it after so many years.

As in all Squaresoft (Square Enix) RPGs you can spend A LOT of time playing this game and some sidequests are rather annoying but if u dont ant to play them then just dont :)

The game itself isnt rly difficult...well obviously it depends on your characters skill but I got through without any big problems. Though there are some tough enemies which you dont have to kill but u will feel great after defeating them.

Again the battlesystem is quite goood. You should speed it up in the menu though then u wont have to wait ages for each character to have a go. Magic isnt used by junctioning special materia to your character like in FF7. Here u have to collect the spells. U can either draw them from enemies or refine them (quickest way is refining them). U will have access to the open world pretty fast and can go exploring. Story takes place in pretty calm and colourful world. You can use magic for the battles and have the possibilty to summon Monsters to help you out.

You are a soldier of SeeD a special force who fights against witches. Yeah... witches... but luckily not the medieval witches :D They r just mean rly mean women with exceptional power who always want more... (sounds familiar?).

Main focus, next to saving the world, is the rather complicated relation between the main character and one of his clients. Yes! This is an epic lovestory :D

The characters can be annyoing from time to time but after long speeches u will be rewarded with awesome cutscenes :D

All in all I enjoyed playing the game after 15 years and it is the second best RPG Squaresoft (Square Enix) has developed :D
