Its a fun chill game for when you get home from school/work. Just you, the snow and the mountains.

Absolutely horrible. Not the game, but the anti-cheat... game is basically unplayable at the time of review. Queued many games over the last few months and most had cheaters in them. Mirage mm queue is unplayable (when i reached 20k elo in premier, games became unplayable so switched to mm where i won 10/11 games and got placed in Nova 1). It's so bad that most of my friends either quit the game entirely or switched to third party sites and even those have the same problems even tho they are less frequent. I grew up playing this game and I want to continue playing this, but at this point its becoming a joke. Cheaters infest the lobbies, the Source 2 engine is not working properly all the time, I understand changes take time, but honestly, apart from the graphics and the smokes nothing significant has changed. Sorry to say this about my favourite game, but don't waste your time with this.

TLDR; Game is not great, cheater infested, horrible matchmaking and ranking systems.

Its a good game, had a lot of fun with it and will continue to have fun cuz i didnt get all the achievements. 11/10

A review at 170h: A good game with decent graphics to play with the boys. Has some flaws but i think they make the game more enjoyable ya know? Overall, R6S is a worthwhile investment.

A review at 10000+ hours (over 2 accounts, cuz originaly got the Alpha on ubisoft and just kept playing on it): The game is dead. They went ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the new operators, past year 3 the game has gone to ♥♥♥♥. I loved it before.. Games were fun, everyone had their own tactics like running out and stuff, peeking windows for spawnkills, game was so much better there was so much more to it. These kids not being able to handle spawnkills, run outs, defending gadgets brought so many "reworks" to maps and operators, some of them got destroyed. A prime example: The map Border. It was fine, everyone loved it for years, but when the game dropped its price and more people came in somehow the map became ♥♥♥♥ and noone liked it except the OGs.

I give mad props to everyone who has been playing since 2015, but all this futuristic ♥♥♥♥ and "fixing" stuff that was never broken or removing key tactics/fun stuff for players just to add more futuristic ♥♥♥♥ like a running hologram that gives you an active feed like cmon man, its a joke, whats the point of a drone then? The golden years of Siege are over and i thought that this game was going to be the next big thing, the new big esport that might rival the likes of CS and League with its dynamic way of playing and the various abilities that give uniqueness to all players and how they utilise those abilieties. Now its just a trap meta for the rest of the game, roaming has been killed, run-outs have been killed, all you can basically do if you are going up against a well prepared team is just sit on site and hope they run into your crosshair or your random teammate pings them and u shoot them through the wall. The trap meta has ruined the game. Every ranked game you just see the same bans and you play the same maps and see the same operators because noone is unique anymore, everyone just plays the meta, I miss the times where players took risks by taking low armor operators and moving around the map I miss being wary of that window in Kafe Dostoyevski, I miss the old community I miss the uniqueness of the game and that unexpected part of well-timed run-outs.

It's been fun Siege and I do hope that somehow we get to see a sliver of the old game, the game where people had fun and were unique, maybe then I'll round up the old squad and come back with a bang.
