The game's fantastic I just can't play because of the bloom effect. The effect is so extreme it just gives me headaches. Hiding behind any object which causes a lighting change seems to make the view really dark and as soon as you move out you're hit will a blinding light transition, it's awful. I'll update this post should the Devs actually decide to give us the option to disable bloom or tone it down massively.

Small Edit: The additional playtime since my comment is from trying to adjust settings using some of the suggestions here, even tried sun glasses ;) Will try again in the future and update should there be community bloom changes or the devs add an option to adjust it.

For clarification as to what bloom may be or what I see it as: Bloom is the visual effect that makes light sources appear to glow, adding a soft, radiant look for a more immersive or cinematic feel. It's the ambient bloom effect that is the issue I'm facing.

Excellent game. I streamed it to the steam deck and played it start to finish with no issues. Really enjoyed all aspects of it. The sound, game-play, gfx are top notch and the ended was excellent. I recommend this to anyone looking for a controller game to chill-out with.

I so wanted this to be great but it's just not. Everything about it feels clunky. I do like the set piece areas and tile based system but that's about it.

Fantastic game milked to death by overly focusing on DLC. There seems to be an emphasis on "how can we squeeze that little extra out of people".

Day one I bought this and refunded it. Day 2 post initial patch, I bought it again and never looked back. Excellent coop shooter with the potential to only get better.

Seems odd to not recommend a game after 200+ hours but. This game begins as an enjoyable experience, very entertaining. The game feels super smooth, well made, many things are just really well done. However, MTX, cash-grab elements, demanding grind and the randomness of the upgrade system really take away from it. In addition to these issues, the encounter design and how the community has evolved around the idea that you must be 100% perfect all the time has created a toxic atmosphere, specifically when fighting bosses with pugs, it's just not forgiving so unless you have a group of people to group with be ready for that.

Not recommended at all. The underwater concept is a big draw but it's far too early to take anything from this in its current state. For now this is nothing more that a bright idea which I don't think this should be up for early access yet. I feel it will come to nothing and may well be seen as a cash grab. Time will tell.

It's a great survival adventure with beautiful graphics and a lot of content. You can explore, craft, build, fight and cooperate with other players in a huge open world. The game is challenging but rewarding, and it has a lot of replay value. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes sandbox games.

Fantastic game when played with friends. The game progression is really well done but once you hit endgame you get to the point in thinking, what do we do now then... Would kill for dynamic events and random zombie hordes, something like that.

Move over PoE, D3 and the rest, Wolcen is here. I imagine PoE2 (err not really 2 more like content for 1) and the D4 team will be taking a look at whats happening here. The community uptake for this game has been fantastic and although the launch wasn't as smooth as we would all have liked I can forgive them for not expecting the sort of numbers they're getting. Excellent ARPG smooth gameplay, plenty of playstyle options and almost infinite replayability. Really enjoying it, job well done.
