Good game with a different take on survival. Several things could use improvement but overall, its a good game. Worth the $30 pricetag.

Played just under an hour and a half. May pick it back up with friends and try again. Game just feels clunky and UI feels outdated. I love MMO's and open world games, but I literally just cant get into this game =/

Awesome game. Not the best basebuilding mechanics but the enemies and caves are wild. Big island and has a good story-line if you can follow it. Hopefully Sons of the Forest fixes the basebuilding mechanics. If you want to make your playthrough last longer, download Champions of the forest from Modapi. It makes the game into a hack and slash loot game like Diablo.

Fun game but limited amount of songs are free. My reflexes are too slow for this. Does not make a good drinking game.

well.. I've put 170 hrs into this game. Its a very soft-core survival. Fun base building and raid mechanics mixed with a simple story line and enemies. Block/Dodge/attack mechanics are a lot of fun. Awesome game for how simple it is! Also the modding community is having a field day with this game. DEFINITELY worth $20.

over 700 hours on this account and probably another 600 on an old account. This game is good, but the mods make it better. Dont think I could play this game without mods

Rocky start. After all this time, they stuck with it and made it a good game. I really enjoy it. Unfortunately I'm at the point that even making new characters, I get bored pretty quick now. As of this review, the game has some pretty sweet looking ships and cool mechanics.

after 630 hours, i redownload this game and play for around 2-4 weeks at a time, then set it down for 5-6 months. It is a fun game but HAS to be played with a squad right now. Base raiding is still too easy and the only counter to that is floating bases (which are being patched) Vehicles are still being used for storage only so its hard to find any. not enough mutants or strong enough mutants to make this a survival. Its become more of a PvP only game because there is no real environment threat. Guns are pretty cool with abundant ammo in the military camps and city. this game still has a lot of potential and is very much worth a few bucks! Basebuilding is limited and overly difficult (no snapping and takes forever to make parts)

After this many hours, I still would recommend this game, but be sure to squad up.
