The game is incredibly buggy and poorly optimised. It frequently freezes at the start of a race and has several game-breaking bugs that force the game to quit. If these issues were addressed, I would have recommended it. Save yourself the frustration.

It's disappointing because the game itself is actually fun. It offers a variety of named cars, plenty of tracks, and visually appealing scenery. The "story," though cringey and old-school, features real actors, which adds a bit of charm.

As a Brit, I found the British commentator didn't quite fit the game's overall aesthetic. Over time, it became grating, and I often found myself skipping the dialogue.

In terms of gameplay, the off-road driving mechanics are solid, but the constant bugs and freezes make the experience more frustrating than enjoyable. I'd recommend looking into other off-road driving games to scratch this particular itch.

Took me 2h6m to get 100% Steam achievements with a puzzle rating of 2019 on Chess.com (if that helps gauge your own timing) and playing at a casual pace before bed.

This is a relaxing and zen way to work through mate-in-one chess puzzles. There are no timers or puzzle ratings, so each level is just you and the board, focusing on finding checkmate in one move.

The game features a single looping background track that blends harmoniously and never feels repetitive. You can customise board colours and pieces, though options are limited. While the colours are easy on the eyes, I only liked one piece design and occasionally switched board colours for variety.

With 300 puzzles to solve, the game does offer some replayability, though the difficulty stays mostly consistent throughout. That said, a few puzzles took me significantly longer to solve, providing small moments of challenge. Playing this before bed was particularly enjoyable—the simple gameplay and soothing music created a relaxing atmosphere that helped me unwind and tire my mind out for sleep.

The game delivers on its promise but could benefit from a few QoL improvements. For example, selecting a piece doesn’t indicate how it moves or what its legal moves are, which might confuse less experienced players. There’s no tutorial, so beginners might feel lost when thrown directly into the puzzles.

While you can solve chess puzzles for free on other platforms, this game removes the pressure of ratings or performance metrics, letting you simply enjoy the puzzles. For the low price, the 300 levels make this a worthwhile experience for chess enthusiasts or anyone looking for a calming, distraction-free puzzle game.

I’m looking forward to exploring other games in the Zen Chess series and would recommend this one for its simplicity and stress-free gameplay. It’s a great way to unwind and enjoy chess puzzles at your own pace

24th Steam Review.

Took me 45 minutes to get 100% Steam achievements.

A word of caution: this game explores heavy themes, including suicidal ideation and the value of life.

This is a very short but intriguing visual novel where you play as a diviner offering fortune tellings to clients. Set in a futuristic world where humans and robots coexist, the game delves into deeply personal and challenging topics. It immerses you in a gritty, hopeless atmosphere with its underbelly-of-society aesthetic, dark retro soundtrack, and morally ambiguous characters.

You can engage deeply with the clients by probing into their personal issues before providing your divinations, which adds narrative depth. The different endings and the way divinations unfold kept me engaged throughout.

For a brief yet thought-provoking experience, I would definitely recommend this game, especially to fans of visual novels that tackle darker themes and ethical dilemmas.

23rd Steam Review.

Playtime is how long it took me to get 100% Steam achievements (rushed).

I wasn’t a fan overall, as too many QoL features were missing. The puzzle pieces are scattered everywhere, including under your progress picture, which makes it frustrating to find them. Slotting in a new piece causes the entire picture to shift, disrupting focus and even re-hiding pieces you’ve already brought to the front. I couldn’t find a way to lock the picture in place or organize unfinished pieces to the side, which would have made the experience much smoother.

The game includes 1,224 puzzles for free, with 51 variations per picture, which sounds generous. However, seeing the same picture repeatedly became boring, and the paid DLCs didn’t appeal to me. While the pictures are visually nice, they felt repetitive and possibly AI-generated. The background music complements the fantasy theme but isn’t particularly memorable.

While it does have potential as a relaxing puzzle game, the lack of QoL features made it more frustrating than fun. If you’re looking for a more polished puzzle experience, there are likely better options out there.

22nd Steam Review.

I hit 100% Steam achievements at 16.9 hours, though I played casually across multiple platforms since release, so your time may vary. Focusing on achievement-specific decks can speed things up.

It’s Yu-Gi-Oh!—if you grew up with the TCG, anime, or games, you know what to expect. For newcomers, this is a collectible card game (CCG) based on the TCG rules, offering a different experience compared to other card games. Players use three card types (monsters, spells, and traps) to create decks, aiming to reduce your opponents’ life points to 0, deck them out, or achieve unique win conditions.

The game offers a lot of flexibility in deck-building, whether you want to experiment or use online decklists. Gems are the in-game currency for card packs, cosmetics, and deck spaces. You can also craft cards by dismantling others, making it easy for free-to-play players to compete with big spenders, provided you focus on a few decks rather than collecting everything.

Visually, the game is stunning, with beautiful card art and cosmetics. The background music adds to the experience but can get repetitive on loop. A story mode introduces card archetypes and their strategies, and the UI and controls are smooth overall. However, the deck search system is frustratingly clunky, making it hard to find or manage decks efficiently, especially when tracking card crafting requirements.

Overall, I highly recommend this game to card game fans. It’s nostalgic, free-to-play friendly, and features a constantly evolving meta with players creating wild strategies. Just be prepared to sit through some long combos as opponents set up their boards. It’s a nostalgic yet dynamic experience that’s worth diving into!

21st Steam Review.

Took me 2h6m to get 100% steam achievements.

This is a beautiful, relaxing puzzle game where you step into the role of an antique restorer. Arriving in a quaint new town, you take on projects from clients who bring you their cherished, broken memorabilia. Each antique holds sentimental value, and as you repair them, you become deeply engrossed in the stories behind both the items and their owners.

The game’s visuals are soothing, paired with outstanding voice acting and lovely background music that immerses you in the charm of the town and its people. The puzzles grow progressively more challenging, easing you into the mechanics before introducing more complex problems to solve. This keeps the gameplay engaging and prevents it from becoming repetitive.

Overall, it’s a short yet memorable experience with heartwarming storytelling and rewarding puzzles. I highly recommend going in blind to fully immerse yourself in its narrative and surprises. Fans of relaxing yet thought-provoking games will find this one a true gem.

20th Steam Review

Playtime is how long it took to get 100% steam achievements.

This kinetic visual novel follows a miller on a tense journey to rescue his sister, abducted by a black knight on a dragon. In an odd twist, the knight leaves behind a sack of gold equal in weight to her boobs—a quirky moment that thankfully doesn’t overshadow the rest of the story.

Surprisingly, this turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable read. The characters are engaging with great chemistry, and the writing keeps the narrative tense and compelling throughout. The stunning artwork and atmospheric music elevate the experience, creating a world that feels alive and immersive. While there’s no voice acting, the game’s mood shines on its own and might be better for it.

At the unbeatable price of free, this short yet gripping visual novel is absolutely worth your time. With a playtime short enough to enjoy in an afternoon, I recommend giving it a try—you might just be pleasantly surprised.

Playtime refers to how long it took me to get 100% of the Steam achievements.

Go in blind!

This is a super eerie and unexpected point-and-click game where you wake up in your sister’s bedroom, piecing together clues to figure out why you’re there. The art style, voice acting, and background music all add to the creepiness, creating this unsettling but oddly satisfying atmosphere.

Some puzzles are pretty straightforward, while others are more ambiguous and left me scratching my head – though maybe I’m just rubbish at point-and-click games!

Since the game is short and free to play, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go if you’ve got an hour or two to kill. Perfect if you’re in the mood for something quick, atmospheric, and a bit unnerving.

Overall, it’s a unique little game that’s a solid pick for fans of spooky mysteries or anyone after a short horror experience.

18th Steam Review.

Playtime refers to how long it took me to achieve 100% of the Steam achievements at a casual pace. You can complete it much quicker if you optimise from the start and focus specifically on the achievements.

I was pleasantly surprised by how hooked I became with this game. You are in charge of running a tavern owned by Naomi, the goddess. You can expand the tavern, hire workers, set up various activities for customers to engage with, and source fresh ingredients for recipes you’ve learned to create, among other things. It’s a management simulator with a variety of mini-games thrown into the mix. Raise the affection of your workers to unlock their backstories about how they came into this world, just like you. There are gacha elements where you can purchase workers, ingredients, gifts, and gear from a shop that refreshes every few minutes. You can equip your workers (who you can specialise for different activities), level them up, and promote their star ratings, thereby increasing their ability to perform their tasks.

The art is average for an anime aesthetic, and the voice acting is soft, amateurish, and amusing in a charming way. The background music is pleasant enough, creating a relaxing environment for you to focus on managing the tavern, which can become quite stressful when your cash flow turns negative.

The backstories of the workers are individualised and do not crossover at all. Some stories are quite interesting and wholesome, while others fall flat, being boring or annoying. Only the worker waifu is voiced; nothing else is.

If you download the free Brothel DLC, it will unlock H-Scenes and the ability to peek into masseuses while they’re working. These scenes are voiced animated still images.

The game did freeze at times, and the audio would become crackly and laggy, requiring a restart to fix the issue. There aren’t a significant number of bugs, but you may encounter a few during your playthrough.

Overall, I enjoyed this game as my first management simulator and would recommend getting it on discount. It has clear missions and tasks for you to complete, so you won’t feel lost, and the mini-games are fun and straightforward. The backstories of each of the workers add some life to the gacha characters.

Playtime refers to how long it took to achieve 100% of the Steam achievements.

The game was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for a relaxing puzzle game. It did not disappoint! It has a beautiful aesthetic with vibrant colours, as well as soothing and atmospheric background music that blends together wonderfully.

It’s a unique puzzle game where you control a princess in search of dimensional objects. The goal of each level is to reach the pedestal where these objects are kept. As you progress through the levels, you are introduced to more ways of bending and moving the environment around you, unlocking new pathways to walk along to reach the end. The game introduces these new mechanics at a very pleasant pace, so you aren’t left feeling overwhelmed by a myriad of new puzzle mechanics to learn and utilise. Instead, it makes progressing through the puzzles refreshing, preventing them from feeling repetitive.

I would definitely recommend this puzzle game as it offers high-quality gameplay that doesn’t leave you frustrated but rather curious about how the game mechanics interact with the world for you to reach your goal.
