The game is more fun than the first one without DLC and mods. With DLC/mods, it's up to your preferences - with my preferences, this is more fun than the first game, but the relative lack of variety (e.g. in assets and total lack of props) hurts in comparison to the first game. Fortunately the asset situation has improved recently and will continue to do so quite rapidly.

Generally many aspects are improved in comparison to the first game, which is exactly what makes the game more fun. In my experience, this game has more management aspects than the first one, although it is still quite building-heavy. Still, this doesn't feel like a plop-down simulator anymore, which the first one ended up feeling like and which I personally didn't really like all that much.

Performance and the bug situation still leave room for improvement, but the game should be quite enjoyable on a wide range of setups without the bugs necessarily hurting the experience all that much. Your mileage might vary of course, so keep in mind that the game still isn't quite perfect in these regards.

'tis a nice game, as long as you can appreciate a calm game. Keeps getting updated as well.

The game is great but support for it was cut short. Historically important points of time such as the Battle of Red Cliffs and the actual Three Kingdoms period are missing entirely, and will never be there. It's still a great game, but beware what you're getting into in terms of support.

Traffic AI is pretty poor in some situations, which is getting more the more you play, but overall, this is a very nice game. Great mod support also helps a lot (even with traffic AI issues)!

It's like Titan Quest but more polished, with quality-of-life improvements, better masteries, and more dull environments. Mind you, the environments aren't bad per se, just a bit dull. Overall, great hack'n'slash fun!

Rocket League is basically football where the players are cars with a rocket boost. The main mode is 3v3, but there are others as well, including 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, basketball, and ice hockey. That's all there really is to it. It works, it's fun. It's easy to learn but difficult to master.

The community can be a bit toxic at times but it's fine for the most part, and you can disable chat, as well as mute and report players. There's also loot crates, but they contain only cosmetic items and there's a decent amount of free stuff as well, so loot crates don't really matter.

All in all, it's a pretty good game that's easy to pick up.

EDIT 2020-09-20: The game is still as great as ever, but apparently the newest update is quite problematic. I expect things to get fixed fairly quickly so that's not really an issue, but now the game also requires an Epic Games account. I would NOT have the bought the game, had it required an Epic Games account back then, so this change is a dealbreaker for me. As it is, I can't really recommend this game - not that you can get it on Steam for long anyway...

Apparently Call of Duty isn't for me. I used to like it... 14 years ago. Now, it's too tightly paced, and there being so many automatic weapons doesn't fit World War II. At the same time, gameplay manages to feel sluggish. Also, hit detection seems very laggy.

It's still as great as ever, with an excellent PC port. The graphics are pretty dated but not ugly, but the game itself is gold. Story, characters, music... Greatness! The battle system is kind of fun too, as long as you don't go grinding (which, while not mandatory, is made more tolerable with the game speed multiplier option). The game is linear for the most part but opens up towards the end.

As an added benefit, you get X-2 as well. Now let's just pretend it doesn't exist. At all.

Please waste the maximum of 15 minutes of your time this game is going to take from your life. Seriously. Don't ask any questions, don't read anything about the game, just play it. The chances are, you're going to enjoy or at least appreciate the game.

At first, you need to be tuned to the game, but after a while it plays like a damn fiddle. Would recommend fiddling with this game unless you mind its shortness (and it does have more worthwhile content than you might think at first).
