Neutral recommendation. Love the narrative but at some point it started crashing a lot and I have not been able to solve the issue... so now I will just watch the remainder of it in someone else's play-through.

Update: I gave it another chance, weathered through the crashes / fps drops. LOL.

I was hooked from the start of the game! Definitely recommend it for its puzzles (easy to average difficulty) and general atmosphere.
I only had to stop playing because I have to go out on an errand - currently 3/5 done.
Just wanted to put my own review in before going.
Again, highly recommend it!

EDIT: Back from my errand and finally done with the game. I hope we get a sequel of sort. I am looking forward to seeing other games like this.

I like learning the different recipes (not that I would ever try making them tho lol).

Can't believe the number of hours I've played for this game.

It has an amazing story and gameplay. It has a potential to have a sequel to cover other things they haven't explored or left open and I wish they would reconsider it in the near future.

Glad to find this gem of a game even though it was released years ago.
Ridiculously fun to play.
Story is crack.
Dev team was probably high on Overcharge when they made it.

I'm in the same boat as to what others say after finishing all of the adventures at least once. Repetitive/grindy. I'd still recommend it because I did enjoy the adventures. The last adventure was a bit lacking though.

There are a variety of characters to play from and unlock. They have unique traits that you can choose in random encounters and could change how those encounters go. I do not know if they actually have a big impact - if an adventure's ending changes depending on what happened before... I never checked but if they did that could be something to make the game up its replay value.

Finally got around to finishing this game. Got it with MAY 2022 HUMBLE CHOICE.

It's a good magic school simulation/management game but could use some improvements in certain areas so that I can call it excellent.
