Game of the year

PROS:
- Very enjoyable game-play loop of killing mobs
- Great character and ability design although a lot of them feels like they're copied from LoL
- Fun boss fights and distinct mobs with their own attack patterns
- Mix and match different abilities every run and they can be upgraded throughout the run
- Gems that buffs your character and/or abilities.
- The game also offers meta-progression upgrades

CONS:
- If the hunters are on your current map, you often just die to non-stop meteors and large aoe bs that appears non-stop and can 1-2 shot you from full-hp. AND you must clear all the mobs and the boss to leave the map. This can keep going on until you beat the final boss if the hunters are still on the chase.
- Meta-progression upgrades are kind of grindy to unlock and necessary to win runs at times.
- Performance issues,: frame drops when too much is going on, long loading time on game launch

Overall the game is amazing and it keeps me coming back. Looking forward to what the devs add to the game next and the fixing of issues.

Everything is right about this game. From the increasingly challenging puzzles that keep you engaged to the soothing sound effect when you clear a stage, each element creates a relaxing ambience that seems to unlock a new perspective within, making your soul feel complete momentarily and ever so empty after. It’s a truly special feeling I’ve only experienced while playing LYNE—and I swear I wasn’t on drugs.

This game is easy to pick-up but still has the complexity to keep you engaged.

FTF is super under-rated and deserves more recognition tbh
