The game is still fun even if you have absolutely no idea what's happening on-screen.

Let me tell you a tale; a tale of old that sea dogs told 'bout an accidental alliance between pirates at sea, and a fleet that came forth worthy enough to challenge Flameheart himself.

The tale begins with two adventurers, in this case two crews allied with each other since long ago. The alliance consisted of two ships full of honest pirates, both commanded by officers who knew not of what they were doing. Commodore T. William of the Sea Dragon, a formidable Brigantine crewed only by the finest men; Ensigns G. Kitsu and K. Sikil. The other mighty vessel was the Roaring Anglerfish, a sloop agile and hardy enough to out-maneuver any vessels who dare to get in its way; commanded by Captain I. Kristofer and his first-mate M. Reccing.

Our alliance traveled across the Sea of Thieves in search for adventure and treasures of left behind long ago by pirate legends long before us. For nights and days we sailed across the seas. Then one day, there it was! A dark, mysterious cloud in the sky in resemblance of a ship. The two ships set course for the mysterious cloud and stood by waiting for whoever, or whatever, is waiting for them. Waves splish and splash across the hull of both ships, water poured in through the top deck, the Wilds was no happy and peaceful place! It's waves almost felt like they were about to tear the ships to pieces and leave our pirates to meet their fates on the Ferry of the Damned.

Then there it was before them, a lone sloop sailing in the middle of sea just where they needed to go. Hesitation arisen and many believed that this sloop would be filled with cut-throat pirates! But before anyone could take action, there it was, monstrous vessels of legend, vessels with the appearance of death, ships began rising up from the sea below as if ships sunken from years past were spat back out from the locker. Never have they seen anything like this. Ships emerging from the depths below, crewed by what seems to be a skeleton crew. No, not a skeleton crew as in a minimum amount of personnel needed to run a ship, but a literal crew of cursed, walking, living and breathing rags and bones, nasty things. Maybe not the last two, though.

The battle was gruesome. Cannonballs exchanged left and right, holes were placed across their ships. How can you possibly sink something that came from the waters? The skeleton sloops were easy to dispatch due to their nimble and fragile hulls, however the large skeleton galleon? There's absolutely no way they could take that out! They were outnumbered and outgunned. Then it happened, the brave commodore and captain orchestrated a plan to take out the final galleon one last pathetic barrage of cannonballs pointed towards the galleon, they only needed to put at least one or two holes in it for this to work. heroicly, they both jumped off their respective command ships and boarded the hostile galleon. It was absolutely horrific. Skeletons emerged from the floorboards, bones rattling, swords slicing, and blunderbusts blundering. The two pirates fought bravely against the horde of seemingly never-ending skeletons on the galleon and finally they only needed one more hole to finally sink the damned ship. The Dragon and the Anglerfish were both far too far away to do anything effective, and the time it'll take for them to get in range could mean life or death. Then the unexpected happened, cannonballs shot coming in from the starboard of the galleon. It was them, the sloop from before with its sails dropped down and displaying a large, gaping maw of a shark. The final shot needed to take out the wretched ship from the depths, and there it went down back into the abyss where it game from. While it sunk, it left behind mystical treasures and mysterious skulls. Gems taken from the cursed merfolk, skulls of the captains who used to serve on-board, and good old gold and doubloons.

The sloop introduced themselves, they were the Gaping Maw, hunters of the legendary Shrouded Ghost; a great, giant shark only told in legends, whether it exists or not still left a mystery to most. Our initial alliance offered them to join, they needed fine pirates to travel in their journeys. Once offered, the crew of the Gaping Maw agreed to ally themselves. There, a mighty fleet was formed.

It wasn't over. At a nearby island not far from where they were, the skies turned red and the winds turned warm. They saw a tower of ash and wind looming over them. What did our adventurers do, you ask? They did what any rational pirate would do. Set sail towards the obviously dangerous threat! Arriving at the island that sourced the ashen winds they meet a man. But he was no man, nor was he merfolk. Dead he was not, neither was he alive. He donned a large overcoat and a mighty fine cutlass, his red skeleton structure radiated heat around him. His name was Captain Grimm. Is he why the undead emerged with their ships before? Doesn't matter. The time for talk is none, the skeleton captain was in no mood to talk. The battle was heated, figuratively and literally, and our pirates feared that this may be their last. Captain Grimm was a talkative one, said something about Ashen Lords or whatever, dunno. He took no notice, didn't even flinch, to any damage done to him. Cutlass slashes were shrugged off, so were bullets from flintlocks.

However, hope was not yet lost. Our pirates continued to fight and strive for victory against this evil foe. Could this have been an Ashen Lord? They thought that was merely a legend. The crews fought tooth and nail against the evil skeleton captain and his hordes of undead. Finally, Commodore William dealt the final blow on Captain Grimm with his trusty cutlass. He was defeated, however not killed. The skeleton captain vanished into thin ash to not be seen again. Our pirates won the battle, but something told them that this was not yet over. What of Flameheart?

Unfortunately that is where this action-filled tale ends. The Sea of Thieves is a wonderful place full of excitement, adventure, and stories to tell. Take on the pirate's life and set course for the Sea of Thieves, where rare treasure and riches are vast, from pirate legends in the past. Share a voyage with a faithful crew, and call to sail the ocean blue.

There is something so great about having a virtual tree on your desktop. It's just a simple yet grand idea. I love it.
Take a break from all the action-packed gameplay that we indulge ourselves in everyday and just relax with a tree.
It is such a good software to run in the background while doing other stuff such as writing documents, reading, watching, etc.

Well worth the dollar.

I'll begin it like this - Fallout 76 did not have a good launch.

However, this Wastelanders update shows that Bethesda is at the very least trying to take a step in the correct direction. They are heading there, but they're not there quite yet.

Fallout 76 is a fun game. It's fun solo, and it's terrific with a friend or two or three.
Exploring the Appalachia is amazing, the beautiful sites of West Virginia are sights to behold.

The new dialogue system implemented within Fallout 76 for its human NPCs is a HUGE step-up to that of Fallout 4. The SPECIAL skill checks are great and the dialogue overall provides that little RP element that I yearn for.
The writing for this game is so much better than Fallout 4 and the story is actually incredibly engaging.

Overall, it's an alright game at best. Get it if you enjoy open-world exploration in the beautiful West Virginia. Get it if you enjoy Fallout. Get it if it's on sale.

It's pretty good. Basically Warband with better graphics and a couple of better mechanics.
Performance could, however, be improved. Many stuttering and FPS issues.

Great game.
Not a good RPG though.
Doesn't change the fact it's good, however.
