Difficult but enjoyable! The meteoric impact always catches me by surprise.

Early Access Review
Was recently reminded that I needed to play this game, and man, it is excellent. Good mix of tactical and boomer shooter, with some nifty movement options.
Also the shotgun is amazing.

Was enjoying it, but now it's no longer supported on Linux. Surely banning 2% of the playerbase will solve their cheater problem.

Cute awesome little game, deceptively challenging at times; it's a blast trying to juggle all of your goals at the same time.

You will eventually have to cave and dump your plant food bucket if you want to get good.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, if you are a Linux user and you have to force compatibility, it works perfectly fine on Proton Experimental at the time of this writing.

Damn addictive. Play it without downloading blueprints or mods for your first playthrough, you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish. The game gives you very few instructions on how to use the tools it gives you, but there's hundreds of ways to use every machine and vehicle and you'll be bound to figure out your own way to do it.

Basically, the best top-down factory automation game, period.

It's got it all. Milking goats, fishing mini-game, grappling with one's own place in life. Good game.

Would 100% recommend this. I've played about 9 hours and feel like I've barely scratched the surface. Despite being in Early Access, it still has a ton of content in an OG fallout-style open world with multi-objective quests spanning settlements and locations.

Buy this if you want a reason to randomly yell out "UBERMOSH".

I was once a peaceful and respectful xenobiologist in tune with the fauna of this alien ocean. But then I discovered that I can get into a mech, grapple weird sharks and robo-punch them in the head until they die. Now my lust for violence cannot be quenched.

Works well on linux, Ubuntu 20.04, running with Proton 5.0-9 (Don't forget to "Enable Steam Play for all other titles" as this game is not officially on the proton whitelist yet). I have an NVIDIA GTX 760 with the recommended nvidia-driver-440. All the graphics setting were defaulted to Max, so if you need to turn them down I would recommend doing that from the Main Menu and then completely exiting and restarting the game before playing. I tried visiting each of the planets, with most of the graphics turned down, and it mostly stayed at 60 FPS with the occasional dips.

I'm a huge fan of this game, I played it previously on my buddy's Xbone. I'd strongly recommend it to anyone interested in a sci-fi mystery game, with a good mix of folksy charm and existential terror. I knew once it came to steam, it would be an insta-buy for me.

UPDATE: I few more things I've noticed, still playing at minimal graphics settings, the framerate is pretty solid at 60 FPS for the most part. Light distortion caused by blackholes and white holes doesn't seem to hurt performance at all. Oddly enough, the only thing that really tanks the framerate is using the landing camera while in your ship, but overall pretty happy with the performance in Proton. About 4 hours messing around, and no crashes. The only things I haven't tested yet is the endgame stuff.
