No fullscreen, infested with bugs, generally not fun all at. Last time I even heard about this game was from a television ad from 6 years ago when I decided to try the game out. Being a superhero for your neighborhood sounded like an interesting concept but, not coming from this developer "Playata GmbH". You have an energy cap that locks you from doing missions and to complete them you have to wait, and wait. Sometimes only for a few minutes, but sometimes for over a day. I remember quitting this game on the first day due to how boring it is. No matter how much you work your away through the game your character will always look plain ugly. And if it wasn't enough, almost certain the game is made with Flash Player. Not fun, not even for kids and does not belong on Steam.

Thank you LP, for putting me through this suffering.

Ah yes, 144p pixelated hentai porn. This game is so terrible, not even as a joke. I thought it was going to be as decent as at least a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Doom wad but it's not. The first enemy you encounter is a bearded arabian (from what I can make up from the pixels) that screams 'Allahu Akbar' at you. You can save the game from the main menu which doesn't makes sense; the 'lolis' present on your playthrough looks like a pile of pixels at the slighiest. I got lost quickly due to the maze-like structure so I tried to open the map from the menu, however it just shows up as a black box at the corner of the screen. It is bugs like this and the fact that sometimes when you open a door there's a wall that blocks your path that make up for a disgusting gift to send to your friends to show how much you hate them. Can't even play half an hour of this suffering.

Driving feels terrible, especially when doing doing drift. It always feels so heavy, stiff and hard to control, and indeed the cars feel like a brick sliding on a block of ice. Engine sounds on the menu are too loud and almost deafening. No customization AT ALL, you can only change the car color and that's it! Every single time I boot up the game I am greeted with some bullcrap online connection feature (Autolog) which doesn't even work due to nonexistent servers, serving as only further annoyance. I feel like I am nitpicking at this point, the game felt promising at the beginning and I admit, but I just can't get myself to like this Need for Speed.

Thank you LP for the gift.

Highly addictive and fun to play. The game will always manage to surprise you, feeling progressive and rewarding at it's entirety. Being similar to Stardew Valley but with a touch of cuteness, this game might just be the cure for depression.

You can't change the resolution, can't use a gamepad, the game has a huge delay input and the screen is surrounded by a black border that cannot be disabled. You can't even play at 60 fps and it has not been fixed with the recent patch. I know this game wasn't ported by DotEmu like the others on Steam but I find this utterly disrespectful as a Metal Slug fan. I never thought I would be negatively reviewing a game from one of my favorite franchises, but here I am. This game is just an excuse for SNK to get more money while shᴉtting on the classics. There are so many issues with this release that you can get the same experience or even better using an emulator for free.

From the same developer of Evil Maze 2 that I reviewed recently, this game really feels and plays like something you would experience on mobile (there's only two controls - left click for turning left and right for turning right). I won't lie, the game is arcady and simple seeing how the character sprite pops up on the screen suddenly as you take a hit. There's a paid DLC to make the game uncensored but you can get the patch for free from the community discussions. Collecting orbs to buy new spaceships can take a while and feel somewhat tedious and frustrating as you proceed if you're not good at the game. Apart from that, the game is actually fun, it's not something you would play for hours straight, and more like something you would play casually.

This is what happens when you try too hard to be intellectual and self-aware. Many games try the same, but only a few can fail this bad and result in such a laughable project. Really hoping whoever made this makes good use of the profit, maybe buying a dictionary or two because holy shᴉt what a poor grammar this game has. Calling this joke that went too far a "game" is a compliment at this point, must be why somehow it managed to shine between smaller youtubers. Personally, I can't help but imagine that the developer is trolling and only made the spelling mistakes on purpose just to get a good laugh in the background. By the time you're reading this review I already refunded, don't buy this waste of time.

Similar to the first Evil Maze, always requires some sort of strategy in order to advance to the next level. This time the game locks your attack with a charge percentage that avoids you attacking if it's not filled. That means you cannot run around attacking enemies and spamming Z everywhere, which is pretty nice, considering that later on in the game you inevitably get pretty strong. Levels are kind of randomly generated which makes the game feel not very repetitive every time you start it. Overall, it is just as fun as the other games from the same dev, maps are average sized but well-crafted and take some time to advance. The door is always at the top of the level so it's hard to get lost. Some enemies have way more health than others, but the difficulty decreases the more you play. There are only a few CGs that unlocks once you get the good ending by finishing the game several times. Quality-wise, they are pretty good, even more with the uncensored patch.

This game has cash grab written all over it. It recycles everything from the original Metal Slug games including all backgrounds, sprites and sounds. For a fan of the series, seeing the name associated to it and then actually playing is pretty disappointing, something that almost made me drop a negative review. The gameplay is pretty basic with the same tower defense and strategy you're used to. Can be rewarding and fun for a couple of levels until the pay2win and grinding is presented. Upon completing a level, you unlock an auto-play mode, which is automatized by an AI, that somehow is worse than the actual enemy AI. Playing online is not possible anymore, since it's a dead game you can only play against Steam friends. Which isn't a good move for a game can you can spend over 15 bucks on DLC content that you could otherwise unlock just by playing the game. Every single step tries to charge your money, one scummy move over the other. I do recommend the game since it's free, but I do not recommend spending money on downloadable content.

For the price you're paying, it's quite worth considering the amount of fun you're having. Might not be very pleasing if constantly walking left and right isn't your thing. Some strategy is needed in order to survive, get more points and eventually unlock CGs. Those CGs are pretty basic, serving as a pornographic relief and the only attractive main point of the game. On another note, you should not play with headphones on since ALL guns and robots have exactly the same gunshot sounds. And don't even get me started on the music. Only one available song as far as I am concerned, being quite annoying to the ears after some time and looping approximately every 30 seconds. All in all, I can only recommend this game while it's on sale.
