I think it can be fun with friends

Not only do I regret buying this right now (why the hell do I need to wait in a queue ad infinitum to play by myself?) I closed the game after trying to play for about 30 minutes, only to come back a few hours later and notice that Steam never actually recognized me closing the game. In fact, my windows task manager couldn't even find the process running at all. It ran in the background in stealth for over three hours and now I can't even get a refund if I tried.

The only game I consistently want to keep getting 100% achievements on every update

Used to spend countless hours playing this on my Playstation 2 and bought it on PC for the same reason. Still a great game, Pandemic knew how to make 'em, God rest their soul.

launched this game for 5 minutes and my mother walked into the room while i tried to block my entire monitor with my whole body because doing that was easier than explaining to her that its a game about ♥♥♥♥♥ going into butt holes

I 100% recommend this game.

Hours of challenging fun and secrets to discover on your journey to find The Gun That Can Kill The Past, the randomization keeps it fresh enough that when you're on floor 1 for the 30th time (screw you, Gatling Gull) you don't feel like ripping your eyeballs out.
Crazy boss designs (a dragun six-stories tall that has 2 uzi's and an RPG to show you, for example)
Fantastic and sometimes hilarious weapon designs (a shotgun shell that fires out shotguns... that fire out shotgun shells)

Great game, I love it and look forward to more content for it.

Edit: now that they have mostly repealed their awful pay to win safes and added actual safehouse customization that was promised more than a year ago, a real review

the gameplay is still pretty solid, shoot cops and steal things or stealth and steal things.
the fact that the game has a billion pieces of DLC, some of which give you a distinct edge over others in higher difficulties, sucks ♥♥♥♥.
oh yeah and if you don't own a certain DLC for weapon attachments or weapons and get really lucky with a safe and get a weapon skin with those attachments for a gun from a DLC you don't own, you can't even use them! have fun

I went to replay this game because I was feeling nostalgic.
Five minutes in, I melee'd a television and crashed to desktop.
Never change.
