This is the best Dark Souls game that isn't 1 or 3

Marketed as a multiplayer game, and that was a lie. Unplayable in its current state.

Connection dropping to host before I can even start a co-op or invasion session. And then, when I do get there, insane desync, taking a hit from opponent before I even see the attack on screen. Trying to heal, then animation happening 5 whole seconds later. As well as players rollerskating and skipping around the screen doing the Miyazaki shuffle. As an avid Souls PvP fan, I really, really wanted this to do well.

You'd think as much as they took influence from Souls and Elden Ring, they would've seen the plethora of problems caused by P2P connection and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ netcode, and tried to prepare against those problems. But instead, they did one worse and made it a host-side connection.

At the very least, I would've been happy to enjoy the single-player if they hadn't leaned heavily on and promoted the multiplayer elements. They could've waited until multiplayer was stable to release the online elements.

Refunding, and gonna put out YouTube vids showcasing the insane desync, and warning other consumers against getting it as well. I'll be happy to repurchase once the issues with co-op/invasions are fixed.
