I'll start this review off by saying this game is a lot better than the first in terms of gameplay. Way less clunky, and takes away the combat the first had which ended up being a lot more enjoyable. The puzzle's in this game weren't as good as the first but nonetheless they were good. Once again, just like the first, the narrative and atmosphere of this game were brilliant. One thing I am very conflicted about is the character 'Clarence'. On one hand I think he's a great character, reminds me a lot of 'Wheatley' from portal 2 with his jokes and personality, as well as his overall role in the plot. But on the other hand I think Clarence's presence often killed the mood and tone the game tried to have. Clarence was definitely a comic relief character and I really don't think it matched well with the horror tone of the game. However I have to give credit where its due: if it wasn't for Clarence, we probably wouldn't have the likes of Wheatley or Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077. So with that said, this game really wasn't all that scary with a character like that constantly around. Please do not mistake this for bad writing, because it is quite the opposite. Even though the game's scariness was very lacklustre with Clarence being around, Clarence as well as all the other characters were very compelling. The whole gimmick of Clarence being able to manipulate Phillip's perception was done so well and made the story even better. There was a moment in the game where Clarence does this and it ends up making both Phillip and most people that have played the game do something they really didn't wanna do. And when it happens it's like: '♥♥♥♥, that really just happened.' and you stand there just staring at the aftermath as you process your actions and the consequence. And Clarence just rubs salt into the wound by laughing and making jokes about it. A common theme between the first and this game is that in the end both the players and Phillips curiosity leads to punishment rather than reward, and there is nothing you can do about (unless you just never finish or play the game lmao). By the end of the game, it's clear that you are being punished for playing along. To elaborate for those curious as to what I mean (BIG SPOILER): The game ends with no resolution at all and it almost feels like it was all for nothing. I think this is a must play for horror and puzzle fans just like the first. 9/10

This game was all round pretty good. It wasn't necessarily scary (maybe because of the outdated graphics) however it did a great job at making you uneasy all throughout. The story is absolutely brilliant, I will not be talking about it at all in this review because I think it would be a lot better if you just played it and learned it yourself but just take my word that it is really good. The sound design was incredible, it was a big factor when it came to setting that eerie, uneasy tone throughout the game. I don't know if its just me or not but this game really reminds me of Stanley Kubrick's work - so much of it being a brain♥♥♥♥ and for you to really understand whats going on you gotta be tuned in at all times.

This is definitely a must play for folks who like horror and puzzle games.

I just wanna start this review off by saying, i paid about 30 bucks for this game, every penny was worth it. This is by far the best story driven game I've ever played. I played this game knowing a lot of the major events as I only beat the campaign a couple days ago and yet the game still gave me so many surprises.

At some points I completely forget the game was even a game, it felt like I was watching one of those interactive movies you get on netflix. The cinematic style stays consistent through to the end of the epilogue. The game constantly pushes to look like a classic western movie and it works so well. You'll notice a lot of the long tasks you get given are shortened down by transitioning to a cutscene half way to keep you entertained and invested in whats happening.

The story is amazing, the greatest told in a video game in my opinion. You play as Arthur Morgan while running from the law with the rest of your gang. As an outlaw, Arthur is introduced as a man with no more than his loyalty and a code. He'll kill and rob anyone deserving as long as he gets paid and Dutch is happy. But eventually Arthurs character develops into a more heroic figure rather than rebellious. You see him start doing more honourable things (no matter what honour level you are). I don't want to talk too much more about the story as it will spoil, but the level of depth in these characters is amazing. The attention to detail in this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy. Even more so than breath of the wild. When you go to play this just stop and actually take a look around the world, you will 100% see some ♥♥♥♥ you wouldn't have noticed that looks realistic as ♥♥♥♥. The graphics are amazing, in fact so amazing that I'm pretty sure my 2060 starts dying every time I boot this game up. Even on low graphics the game looks really good, unless you actually stop and look at them then they won't as much lol.

A lot of people criticise the guarma section of the game, and I really don't see why. The section is extremely short and the main criticism thrown at it was that 'it's just a long shooting mission with a lot of shooting and nothing else.' This isn't true, at least not entirely. Yes you do shoot a lot more than you do anything else, however, the change of environment is very nice and while you're progressing through the missions it really is refreshing taking in the exotic sights of the tropic. Personally, I loved going through this game and just looking at all the environments, it was amazing. And guarma was by far the best place for this. Another thing to mention is that the story is still there. Some people say the story falls off from here, but I completely disagree. It doesn't get better or worse it simply continues being as good as it was. Anyways that's all im gonna write (there are some other things i could talk about that also made the game great but this review is getting long enough so I'll cut it here).

This has easily become my 2nd favourite game ever (just behind breath of the wild) and I highly recommend this game to absolutely everyone.

this game is okay, but it was sorta underwhelming. its probably the best way to relive dbz by far but the open world they promised us kinda sucked balls. the fighting in this game also got pretty boring after a while. the visuals are most def the best part about this game. those pre rendered anims are just so GOOOOOOD. but then u get the majority of the cutscenes where its literally just characters talking to each other with the talking animations being looped and ♥♥♥♥ like that which look garbage. ill recommend this to any dbz fan out there, but someone looking to just play this to get into the series, dont get this. just go watch dbz itself and then maybe get this lol.
