Starbound brings an interesting setup to the table : an unending universe completely open for the player (or players) to explore of their own free will. While still in beta, Starbound is still completely playable and has various routes open for people to take. Space adventurers can dabble in agriculture, undertake small- or large-scale construction, traverse the foreign expanses, and including, but not limited to, visiting established colonies and/or creating colonies of their own. Add this combined with the never-ending limits of peoples' imaginations, and Starbound becomes a bountiful and fruitful sandbox where nothing is holding anyone back.
