Great little racing game sadly has some issues, namely the developers greed. I am more then happy to pay a small amount for a monthly reward pass, however even paying to enjoy Disney Speedstorm you still find yourself locked behind some sort of pay wall/or requirement for more.

The events get locked behind needing a specific racer or criteria that you will not be able to meet unless you are willing to pay more or put it down to chance/luck. this season it's currently "inside out?" i purchased this pass, assuming i'd get to enjoy all of the events in the season i was wrong... buying the pass unlocked a lot of items however some races didn't even require inside out characters it would use a random one that you likely have not got unlocked.

then the frustration of learning the season pass has been split into 2 parts, so i had to buy 2 separate season passes, seems like a bold move to take from the developer.

the game is over saturated with currencies, what you will need to play the game:
Shards to unlock racers.
Season Coins to buy boxes/loot crates.
Vanity coins to get cosmetics.
Tokens (purchased to convert into most the other currency)
Upgrade Coins (to unlock/increase racers levels)

it does have quite an active community, that's the main attraction and take away with Disney Speedstorm, unlike other kart games that have a dead online presence this is the one highlight from this game, you will not be waiting long to find a race online.

if you are new coming into this game SPEND NOTHING... Gameloft don't deserve the money.

Take your time and just slowly unlock things to do. once you start farming the shards required for new racers it becomes more enjoyable.
