Yeah.. its Pixel Gun all right. The game itself is fun enough, now how much of that is due to the nostalgia I cant discern. Years ago PG3D was among the best mobile games with a solid progression system and a great multiplayer community, then it become very P2W and the average lobby was full of 1 shot snipers and heavy weapons which are largely unbeatable in a 1v1 scenario without the equally paywalled armor and accessories. As someone who's played this game for a *very* long time and even reached Adamant League when the leagues system was first added, it has certainly only gotten worse sadly. It is still a fun game and one I will continue to play, and I wouldn't completely dismiss it if you're a new player, but my recommendation comes with a strong warning: it will be P2W, you will lose to children with mommy's credit card, and you will be immersing yourself in a garbage community which has its humor rooted in 2010s slang and slurs.

Probably the best controller racing game I've played. Tons of ways to play with different car classes, maps, and things like manager mode. Things like dynamic weather, tire wear, and an adjustable difficulty mean you can tailor make your own championship which is pretty cool. Workshop support is the cherry on top with maps like Macau, Laguna Seca, and more made by the community that just work with no extra hassle.

Early Access Review
The game itself is a pretty decent but I have some criticisms with gameplay and ethnics.

First with the gameplay: progression is a bit slow and seemingly doesn't match the map. My map (which I believe is the same as everyone else's) had a level 38 Mammoth boss a short jog away from the "main" spawn and level 3 Lamballs, yet after journeying to the extremes of the map I find level 11 bosses and more level 3 pals. The placement of higher level pals (and therefore, difficulty) seems random which can be a bit frustrating. It would make more sense to have the wild pal levels increase either as you do or the father away you get from the main spawn. This problem is exacerbated by the slow leveling system: 8.5hrs later I'm only level 16 (out of 50 I believe) and can't even catch that mammoth if I tried, yet the level 11 Sweepa that was a 15m walk from my base isn't even really worth fighting. This also makes getting the guns (which is one of the major selling points) not even available on any given play through until around a dozen hours or so. There's probably a way to grind XP faster than my casual playing, but I don't want to be forced into grinding to make the progression feel adequately paced. It's not the worst and doesn't ruin the game or ♥♥♥, but I'd like to see a quicker leveling system.

The designs: Yeah, it needs to be talked about. Some of these Pal designs are just reskinned or touched up pokemon. Now im not one of those "only Pokémon can have a monster catching system grrr", but some of these designs are egregious. This is unfortunate since most of the orignal designs are solid. The game shouldn't be written off as a whole because of this, but they should update the more obvious ripoffs to be more original.

These are the only noteworthy issues I've encountered in my 8.5hrs of playing so far. It's a good game with friends, but I'm definitely not as impressed as the sales numbers indicated I would be. 7/10

TBRAB is an improvement on all fronts from TBCTE. The combat is very Gungeon-esque (which is one of my favorite games), the humor is still very solid, the soundtrack is pretty good, and the Turnip Boy story only gets better. Its a pretty good game that I would recommend for casual gamers who enjoy the genre but dont want the learning curve the big names like Gungeon possess, or more experienced gamers looking for a funny game to spend a few hours on. That being said, given the game's $15 price tag and the ~3ish hours it took me to beat the game (while doing a lot of side quests and on the hardest difficulty), I would probably wait for a sale before picking the game up.

Having loved the second game I was eagerly awaiting the release of this game, and it doesn't disappoint. May even surpass the 2nd in terms of overall fun for me, would recommend.

Coming from Assetto Corsa and even the F1 games this game just feels... bad. The wheel experience has been borderline unplayable, even with assists the cars feel like they're on ice skates. I'm by no means a fantastic sim racer, but the experience is just far too horrid on a wheel to justify purchasing in my opinion. I've even swapped from controller and wheel and it's just clear that the game is not optimized for a wheel at all. "It's made for controller" I know, but if you offer wheel support make it good or do not add it to save consumers the time. Having put hundreds of hours into Forza MS 3/4 and being very excited for this game, my experience has just not been fun. It's been extremely disappointing playing this, and I'm contemplating refunding

Edit: After messing with wheel settings and using nearly every assist I hop into the first real campaign race after beating the little 3 race tutorial cup... and my bottom tier sedan literally loses all traction after braking at ANY angle no matter how slight or how slow. It is unacceptable that a racing game feels this way and I have requested a refund. A pathetic entry to what was once my favorite racing series. I'll stick to Assetto from now on.

Edit 2: Tried it again because friends want to play it and just wow... this game feels like ♥♥♥♥. Anyone who says the cars feel good are lying to you. Anything more than like 20% pressure on braks and you're locking up and the cars feel clunky as ♥♥♥♥ to turn/borderline unresponsive on my Thrustmaster sf1000. As I'm growing in my sim racing abilities (removing some assists from assetto) my experience on this game only gets worse. Im able to drive F1 cars, hypercars, and other car disciplines on AC without traction/stability control and minimal use of ABS fairly comfortably yet on this game im unable to do anything with max assists. Horrid game.

Fun little platformer with 2 people. Difficulty is enough to make it challenging but not too frustrating. The ability to use a countdown is also perhaps the most genius thing a co-op platformer could have, hope more incorporate that

Solid game with a funny premise and some decently funny dialogue. Realistically it isn't that long of game for the main story (even going out of my way to do some side quests I was able to roll credits in 113 minutes) so I'm not sure if I could recommend it for $15, but for $5 on sale it's a worthwhile cop.
