Haven't had a chance to play much yet. Good so far. Installed Epic Games stuff on my PC on launch without my permission. Did NOT originally include a note that it required a third-party account to play.

Mediocre Korean Warframe. Poor performance, mid-tier gunplay, predatory shop. First thing I saw in the hub was someone wearing a maid outfit, so don't expect any form of style consistency.

Still a good game. As far as I know PSN hasn't suddenly become a requirement here.

Actually shocked at Sony choosing to back off on the PSN thing.

Overall good game, has its problems, both in-game at with the devs. Despite issues, easy recommend if you A) Have friends to play with or B) Don't mind some shenanigans from playing with randoms.

After testing the waters with putting massively overpriced guns in the superstore from their first collab, AH has backed off. This wasn't a mistake. This was them testing the waters. The company is not your friend.

Took an unfinished game and put it into full release then left. Don't bother.

Lead dev thinks statutory rape is "some sjw term" and "not really rape" so maybe just find "alternate methods" to play instead.

Not only is the game "Meh", but the studio can't accept criticism and has decided "No, I'm not out of touch, it's the people playing my game who are wrong."

I want to like this game. It has issues that could probably be fixed. But even beyond that this is one of the worst launches I have experienced in a very long time. The only amount of playtime I've managed to get in was in the three days before the actual launch.

I enjoyed Hawken and was excited to see a PvE remake.

This ain't it. This is a mobile game.

Floaty movement, "fuel" system is bad and feels bad leaving you sitting around waiting for the ability to jump again. Similarly hiding in cover for your shield to come back because there is no way to repair and no armor, just health and shield.

Shooting feels bad, especially in two areas. First: The animation for reloading ends, and then there is a delay before you can start shooting again for some reason and it is awful. Second: Your shots have no impact, it is super obvious when shooting at infantry. Speaking of infantry, you can run over them and it doesn't do anything, which is a mistake.

Subjectively, the mechs are ugly. I remember liking them in Hawken, so I have no idea what's going on here.

The voice acting is... Well it's there.

The missions that are in the game are short, mediocre, and feel kinda disjointed, as if there is meant to be more context it just isn't there.

And probably most importantly...

The fact that I'm treating this as a full release despite the Early Access tag. If you are selling premium currency you aren't EA, you're a full release. You can buy mechs and weapons, not just skins, with the premium currency. If you die in a mission you can revive yourself with the premium currency. If you want to craft something but don't have the materials you can buy the materials with the premium currency. Naturally the prices of items in the store are also given abusive prices in order to force you to buy a more expensive pack or multiple of the cheaper packs and ensure you have currency left over.
