Honestly, these kind of games only appeal to certain type of public, but for me they are just amazing. FMVs are among the things I enjoy the most in the game. For me story-line is the most important thing and by itself a game I enjoy is an interactive way to advance through a plot.

My score: 80/100.

This game is definitely worth if you know what to expect from it. Maybe because of its length it can be worth it to wait for a discount. For me this game fulfilled its aim to give me entertainment for a few hours (literally 2 hours, like a movie). I might get the custom of playing a game like this every often to change from other genres and add more variety.

That being said, for me this game its outstanding in the following ways:
- Really great acting.
- Right amount of length and replayability for me (not fan of long replays).
- Plot is very interesting

Cons:
- Might be good to be able to jump between chapters to earlier or full (after finishing the game) to improve correcting decisions without having to play the full game again.
- Mixin option does not seem to work anymore.

Summary:
Inversion is a 3rd person action packed game that is worth taking a look. Having the Bandai Namco publisher seal got me interested and although game play is relatively simple and linear, the game is presents a good level of challenge and interesting story line. Fans of open world or latest gen graphical games might better look elsewhere.

My rate: 75/100.

Pros:
- Graphics have aged well in my opinion. Sure, they might not look crisp like last gen games but they are still good to look at.
- Story, although strange definitely keeps you hatched to advancing.
- Not many characters but detailed enough. I managed to create connections and emphasize with them through the story.

Cons:
- Some fights are stupidly difficult, specially in hardest setting.
- Camera movement is too wild sometimes, enough to get us sensitive people dizzy. I had to stop playing after a few hours in a row and rest.
- Ending feels unfinished or rushed.
- The Game crashes randomly. Changing a few settings worked for me, but its really annoying and for some people it becomes unplayable.

Heroine Anthem Zero es an Action 2D RPG with exceptional music, but a few things to be desired on the playability side.

Pros:
- Music. The game has a few songs that are outstanding.
- Story is more or less good, to the point that when you finish you keep wanting to know what will happen.
- Character sprites are nice.

Cons:
- Characters are not deep.
- Controls and combat could be better.
- Sometimes cut scenes are just too long
- The interaction between characters gets old very fast

Summary:
I really enjoyed the few hours put in this game, really tried to play without any guide and found myself getting the most difficult ending (not positive one I must say). This game might not be for everybody, but if you enjoyed CGI and actor based games, definitely will like this one.

Pros:
- Acting.. I just love real people in a game since Phantasmagoria PC series and Resident Evel 1 (PSX). Only the CGI based actors kind of are good nowadays.
- Story: I found myself intrigued by the story, but do play it without any guides.
- Length: Appropriate length for a detective based game.
- Certain decisions and questions can lead to hilarious results.
- Most actors are really good, not only attractive but good skills.

Cons:
- Procedural generated murderer for me not necessarily make me want to play the game more than once.
- Exploration is minimal
- Protagonist is crude and simple and the Shapeshifting does not make him/her? interesting at all.

Summary:
This very short but unique game caught my attention made me enjoy puzzle solving for every hour played. Its short duration might not make worth acquiring it at full price. For me playing this game represented a nice change of pace among the usual action, shooters, strategy games that people usual play, although did not enjoyed the negative references to certain country history.

Pros:
- Beautiful design of environment and shadows.
- Good challenge level of puzzles.
- Very nice music.

Cons:
- Very very short.
- Story inconclusive (makes the game feel a bit unfinished or/hand pressed on during development)
- Focus on negative aspects of a culture. Normally not too much a fan of playing games that depict certain real-life cultures as villains.

Summary:
Blasphemous is a punishing action game with RPG elements (thankfully not roge-like for me) that has its set on a Divinity punished landscape. Overall I enjoyed the game and found myself playing much more than what I initally thought. The game has multiple endings and presents a good yet not impossible challenge, although the narration is not my piece of bread. I recommend this game if you enjoy the genre.

Pros:
- Good amount of skills to choose
- Great challenge.
- Pixel arts is amazing
- Developers are constantly improving the game.

Cons:
- Narrative is not of my liking. I found myself skipping constantly because I did not like the way the texts are presented (but this is just me). Story was not so interesting for me (Who is the freaking miracle, god?)
- New game+ has elements that should have been presented in the original play through. I did enjoyed myself playing another time through the game (and I tried to). And thus I lost the possibility to go against the most powerful bosses.
- The punishment system should be present in the first play through.

Summary:
The hobs is an exploration and adventure action game with a few RPG elements (such as upgrading equipment).
I greatly enjoyed this short yet engaging game and felt like wanting to come for more every time, although replayability is limited and I found myself satisfied upon reaching the endings (did not feel like going for the remaining achievements). I highly recommend to buy this game in bundles or discounted, as for some the length of the game might not make it worth it at full price.

The Positive points:
- I feel the game was designed with care, putting special emphasis on the environment and interactions.
- Music is calm and environment is soothing,
- Game is not too long (given the characteristics of the game itself this is a positive trait for me)
- Story is simple yet quite interesting, although gives room to too much subjective interpretation.
- Map and usage of system points.

The improvement points:
- Combat can be better, for instance enemies could be smarter and use tactics.
- Camera sometimes can be your enemy by itself and its not possible to change perspective.
- Story could be further explained. Too many things left in the air.
- Some upgrades feel not worth it, more like fillers.

I must say the concept of horror anthology is quite appealing from my perspective, yet the real reason why I decided to buy the game were:
- Saw the trailer and loved the graphics and animations.
- Bandai Namco games are among my favourites.

That being said, this game was really satisfactory. I played the first time by myself, without any spoilers and greatly enjoyed the game. Afterwards replayed it to try to get the best ending.

A definitely recommended game if you enjoy these type of titles, with exploration, decision making and a bit of action although I concur these titles might not be the taste of everyone.

The game is short but getting all the endings or possible paths might take more time. Perhaps the best is to do a full run by yourself and then another one to try and get more of the story/endings.

Please mind that this game is sometimes quite scary (I literally jumped from my seat) and I do not consider myself a chicken overall and can sustain quite a bit of horror. Yet consider avoiding playing it during the night.

Thanks to Bandai Namco and the devs for such a nice title.

Some time has passed since I laugh so much playing a video game.

Catherine is a title I was looking to play since they released it in consoles and as soon as it was available in PC I got it. (I remember even writing to ATLUS and requesting them to please port it to PC.

That being said, the game itself is puzzle-based and by any means I found it very challenging (I even gave up trying to play it on hard, it was VERY HARD). Normal difficulty was my preferred choice for my 1st playthrough and easy during the second, as I wanted to see most of the endings (the game has 4+ endings).

Catherine animation is beautiful and story well thought. The moral-system is simple yet interesting (although maybe further game-changing decisions could have been implemented).

If you like Anime-kind games and enjoy puzzle games, give Catherine a try, I am sure you guys will not regret it.

This game is one of those hidden gems that when you start playing the most difficult thing is to stop.

Developers put an amazing storyteling and gameplay system which makes you get immersed in the game to such extent that trying all options to get the whole picture and storyline is a must.

If you love Turn based RPG and enjoy a good storyline... get this game but be sure you have plenty of time to dedicate to it! :P

Thanks devs for such an amazing title!
