Unfortunately the Developers have opted to require a PSN account so they can more effectively ban players they don't like. I refuse to support this decision, and have requested a refund which has been denied because unfortunately i live in the USA. Do not buy if you don't intend to support this

I wanted to wait until after the full release to leave a review, and now that it is out, and I have had a chance to play, here is my opinion.

IT HARD

Do keep in mind, I am not one to complain about a game being too hard.
This is entirely skill issue on my part.
The Friendly AI's are more than capable of making up for what you lack. The new overhaul to their AI is incredible.
But it is hard.
The enemy AI's are RUTHELESS.
They know where you are. They know where you are hiding. They will end your life through a door if you wiff your kick.
Been bashing my head against the Mindjot Mission for the last two hours.
Sooner or later my team will pull through and not die immediately.

Do you dislike bathing?
Have you considered yourself a MANLY MAN?
Do you wish to make it a habit to beat anything smaller than you to death with your bare hands?
Yes? This game is for you.

Lets keep it quick:
If you like Arkham Horror or Eldritch Horror you will already like this. This game is Nigh Identical to those games.
Lots of Japanese Folk Horror. Good if you like it. Unique if you are unfamiliar.
The vibe is fantastic. im very happy with the artstyle used.
Fast. like REALLY fast. You can finish a campaign with the default ruleset within an hour and a half.
I liked the game. its quite nice. easily worth the time and money i spent on it. Updates are still coming, a little slower than some would like. More content coming soon.

So what is there to say? Really, this isn't a rhetorical. It's POSTAL, if you have been out and about for the last couple decades, you probably know what this franchise is about. This is more of the same, in a great way. A fantastic return to a good formula after a brief fall from grace. I don't play this game often because for me, i have to be in a specific kind of mood for the mindless mayhem of Postal, but when that itch is there, this game scratches it perfectly.

Honestly, im not sure what i expected. this game is phenomenal. its everything i want from a Fromsoft game and more.

I got this game on sale as a joke. I had so much fun that i do not regret the time i spent. if you have a dollar, Id buy it.

This game was very dissapointing after having tons of fun in Dark Souls 1 and 3. I was warned that this game was very different from the other two, and I was willing to take the chance with it. I was left feeling very dissapointed both in my judgement and in the quality of the game. I am aware that a different team worked on this game than the team that worked on the 1st and 3rd, but that shouldn't make this much of a difference. 2/10 Would only reccomed to DIE HARD Souls fans. If you can't see yourself playing through to new game +7 in Souls 1, this game is not for you.
