Damn. Toriyama's dead, huh. I didn't even get to see the news until I came back from school and booted up my phone. I was literally 4 years old when I was exposed to Dragon Ball for the first time, through Super. I didn't know what it was, but for the one episode that aired for it, I was hooked. And then later in 2023 I found the series again for the first time, and loved it. This next part might make me sound like I need to seek asylum, but I did as much as I could to catch up on Dragon Ball or see content from prominent creators like DotoDoya, Nanogenix, Burcol, mostly fighting game youtubers, but also some unknown Breakers YouTubers like Sjamsjam, and hell even TeamFourStar's Dragon Ball Z Abridged got me hooked on the series. I bought Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, got old games like Sagas, the Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series, Super Dragon Ball Z, Raging Blast 1 and 2, whatever, you name it. Even managed to get one of my cousins hooked to it. And then later I tried actually trying to watch the series from the start of the series, Dragon Ball. I checked the Super manga every now and then and years before all this, I was playing Dokkan Battle and Legends on my dad's iPad. And then I just go to school, come back and find out about... This. I'm only 13, but it still hurts to think this really happened. I hope the Dragon Ball series and wherever it's at now, still goes strong despite this setback. That's all I have to say.
