i feel like people who think the police propaganda is too authoritarian are the same people who didnt get the satire in starship troopers.
also i do like the setting of controling a swat team through gritty environments, as if youre experiencing everything awful within the urban civil world anonymously first-hand before its been filtered through paperwork, public statements, and articles

Although the strange interface and weird keybindings might seem threatening at first glance, once you get used to them the gameplay feels tight and fitting. If you ask me I wouldn't even recommend touching the default controls.
However, I recommend turning up the FOV in the settings, and enable Full Screen on the in-game HUD.

Simplistic game. Nothing special graphical or in gameplay. Use of DX11 is nothing more than a marketing gimmick. I uninstalled the game already because I don't intend to spend even more time with work-arounds for the bugs. They obviously spend more money on marketing then on game development.
And why can I not change the keyboard controls?

Pro's:
- decent story

Contra:
- outdated graphics
- very little voice acting
- mediocre combat
- no companions ai
- bland companions
- Obsidian changing a part of the game because some people felt offended

Can't recommend the game. Won't buy any other game from a developer without any integrity like Obsidian.

Horrible game, each minute on the map I have to listen chit chat from the characters, where they talk about themselves, its very, very annoying and the worse aspect of it all (the talk is so bad that it made the player looks like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥). Combat is terrible (9 in 10 times you see "miss" on the screen, meaning the characters fight like children), the quests are pointless, there is no story, you keep exploring the map in circles. The only good thing were the classes, those were fine, with diversity of builds, but unfortunatelly the devs spoiled the game with bad writing, annoying and useless talk (which is not immersive, quite the contrary), bad combat and a stupid AI. Wasted potential.
