Monster Hunter: World is Capcom's answer to the next generation of consoles for its successful Monster Hunter franchise. Known for satisfying combat and a sense of achievement as you rise through the ranks of the hunters guild, this entry does not fail to deliver. While a few more complicated systems are 'dumbed down' for this entry, the new mechanics and fluid movement more than makes up for the lack of complication. Hardcore fans of the series can rest assured that the difficulty curve still exists and is incredibly rewarding. While the Dev team has strived to provide constant updates for the content of the game, with a new expansion "Iceborne" coming out this summer, the PC version has unfortunately been doomed to constantly be several months behind the console releases. This is inconvenient to say the least.

All in all a good addition to the monster hunter franchise which has a few development hiccups but nothing to impact the game play the series is known for!
