... Gotta catch 'em all!

I'll make a proper review at some point

This game is quite old school RPG-y and reading is a HUGE part of the game.
I usually get restless after 10-20 mins of playing games like that, but imo, this game is different. Alot different.

Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones is a very Lovecraftian and intriguing game.
I don't want to risk spoiling anything, but if you're into Lovecraft, mysteries or putting 2 + 2 together on your own, you really should give this game a shot - especially if it's on sale!

Not fantastic, but it's different and interesting.

I'd suggest you get it whilst on sale, since there are no achievements or cards.
I usually never bother with games like that, but this game was worth it nontheless, in my opinion.

I can't put anything in my inventory, so this game isn't playable for me xD

If you like the older Resident Evil games with the static camera angle and the need for inks in order to save your game progress, chances are you'll like Tormented Souls.

The game's got the RE and Silent Hill feel, with the eerie atmosphere and the puzzle solving.

However, if you're afraid of amputees or people in wheelchairs, you may wanna think twice before playing this game.

+ Dark

- Poor english translation and grammar.
- Some illogical item purposes.

I've played loads of HOGs/puzzle games and this one really stands out!

Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome is alot darker than the other games I've played in this genre. I LOVE that!

Pros:
+ Dark and morbid
+ Several puzzles I've never seen in other games
+ Good voice acting and great dialogues & monologues
+ Captivating story
+ The final ending was different and awesome

Cons:
- A few items had strange purposes
- Can't fast travel between scenes

Other than those two, I can't really think of any other negative aspects.

I'm gonna keep it short:

Cons:
- A bunch of google translated words and sentences
- Several items purposes make no sense
- Puzzles are either easy as f*** or very difficult, there's no in between
- Puzzle instructions are vague and weirdly translated into English

Pros:
+ Alot more death and gore than you'd normally see in HOGs
+ Supernatural elements
+ Some (alright and less alright) voice acting
+ Achievements

I love the Silent Hill atmosphere.

There are a few parts in the game where it might be buggy. If that happens, reloading the game should do it.

My main issue with the game is the combat system, it's clunky as ♥♥♥♥.
Also, Alt-Tab:ing will make the game crash.
