If you like puzzle games, this is by far one of my favourites. In 'The House of Da Vinci 2' you will be following a short story following under the footsteps of the famous Leonardo Da Vinci. I found all puzzles interesting to complete, none of them felt impossible, always achievable if you have an observant eye and willingness to test solutions in different ways until you find the real solution.

The game does provide hints if you find this a struggle, however I never spent more than 10 minutes on one problem and never needed to rely on the hints, I believe this is because the developers made the puzzles clear to understand the goal. Many other games fail to do this as well, but in this game series, its an enjoyable experience and I hope to see more to come!

Warhammer: Vermitide 2 is actually a lot of fun, you go through dungeons as a 4-player coop slashing through waves of enemies with a range of weapons of your choice depending on what you have equipped it beforehand. At the end of each mission you collect chests which provide better gear which you can equip to your character which increases your power.

Gear like most RPG's in which come with attributes and a couple of base stats. Items are salvageable for materials which can in turn be used for crafting or upgrading equipment. I don't find I use crafting/upgrading much but once I max my level to 35 I am likely to find using this a lot more since each mission usually provides the odd piece of better equipment than what I already have equipped.

There are a nice range of environments which include special pickups which provide some bonus chest upgrades at the end of the mission. The missions often includes mini-bosses and main bosses as well as the random spawned miniboss which can change up the gameplay a bit and keep you on your toes.

The playstyle is forgiving on hitting targets, headshots will deal increased damage. You can block, knock-back enemies and dodge which is essential for keeping yourself from getting hit. You can collect potions in the game to heal or give you boosts as well as ammo supply boxes or ammo bags to refill your ranged weapon. You will find yourself using ranged weapons on a more situational-basis when you have high-threat targets which differ from the standard waves of enemies.

Increasing the game difficulty will make things increasingly challenging and you will want to make the most of blocking, knock-back, Crowd-control abilities and dodging as much as possible at the correct time.

I do strongly recommend this game and keep in mind that the typical mission will take from 30-50 minutes to complete.

This game hits one my favorite spots in WW2 style combat. Interesting and thought-out gamemodes, utilizing maps in various different ways. Combat and movement for this type of shooter is just the way I like it for the battle scale.

Maps are really well thoughout, well designed and do look pretty incredible. Animations of the soldiers you get used to very quickly, the classes available are simple and straightforward. If you want to snipe, you are often encouraged to get to the objective at certain times. Want to take a leadership role? Be a commander, however you need to rely on teammates carrying a radio if you want to callout airstrikes or drop supply crates. Engineers are great for carrying and using explosives (rocket launchers or C4 for blowing up certain walkways to earn new pathways to get to the objective for your team.

I mostly enjoy playing the larger battle gamemodes, but I often dive into the more competitive smaller scale modes. The types of weapons feel great to play, although I tend to stick with bolt action rifles because I love instagibbing people.

Voice acting in combat has been really well done, kudos to the dev voice acting department, great work!

I recommend this game as one of the top quality ww2 shooters out there, I feel this surpasses Verdun, more enjoyable than Heroes and Generals (even though they have a different and interesting take on the playstyle).

Pretty simple fun game. Sounds get quite reppetitive and obnoxious and it would certainly help if there was a mouse sensitivity slider. I can barely play the game because the ingame sensitivity is too high for my mouse.

Playstyle while leaning feels weird when you turn. I can see how it was programmed but I'm certain there is a better way around that! (Looking at you dev)

"I used to like GTA, I used to like Rockstar but time and time again they treat us, the gamers like ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Today Rockstar Games, and their publisher TakeTwo Interactive sent a cease and desist to the developers of OpenIV, a tool made for modding GTA and allowing the games to thrive years after release. So much time and effort put into the tool so that people could make the game their own and it's all gone due to the greed of Rockstar and TakeTwo. I will never buy another Rockstar game after this and it was bad enough as it was with them turning onlline play from something basic and fun in GTA IV into a greed propeled grindfest.
Once upon a time I would have recommended this game, I would have recommended any Rockstar game but not anymore."

If you are possibly a fan of the old CoD's I II & III then Verdun should tickle your nostalgia.

This is trench warfare, most guns are rifles with one-shot kill if you can aim, better finding a really good position with good cover and bringing down the whole opposition. Sniper scopes are pretty rubbish but the good old fashioned iron-sight should do the trick no problem at any distance.

It's absolutely fantastic to jump into the enemies trench and mow them all down one-by-one, or recover your own teams trench by doing the same move. Nothing feels better than the whole opposition team yelling "WAAABBITT OMG!!" after shooting the crap out of them.

Early Access Review
This game is pretty easy to get into, kinda similar to something like Left4Dead but a bit more into the competitive side. It's great fun being a Vampire as you can 'Assassins Creed' your way around the map and if you coordinate with your team you could potentially take down all four humans without any casualties. However playing as Humans there are a few different tactics you can play. One being camping in a spot on a map that is pretty close to the Healing/Ammo Shrines, another tactic is to keep moving around the map and make the vamps chase you around, which can make it harder for them to get ready to pounce. However Humans need to make sure not to stay too close to each other as some of the vampires have some stun/aoe abilities that take huge advantage of this. As long as you have all your fellow humans in sight where you can still offer some firing support, you should hold up a good defence against those bloodthirsty vamps.

I have spent plenty of hours in this game and it's in my top 5 favourites to play now. Much more enjoyable if you can grab 2 or 3 friends to play with you and with voice communication being a key factor to success.
