I will be honest I absolutely LOVE playing this game, it's one of those games where I play when all I want to do is listen to my Spotify playlist on repeat and chill in VC with my friends. We all screenshare Supermarket Sim to each other on Discord because it's just so entertaining to play.
Would I recommend it to others? Yes I would. I even bought the game to 2 of my friends so we can all play it together. However I have some points to make and give some ideas for a better game, as a consumer.

1. MAKE THIS GAME MULTIPLAYER. I would absolutely LOVE to be able to play with my friends in the same market where one of us can be a cashier, the other re-stocker, the other the manager ETC.

2. UPGRADE DESK/MANAGEMENT AREA. I prefer being able to check the price changes of products from the PC and being able to change them directly from the PC, instead of having to go to every individual item to change the tag.
It's fine when you have a small variety of products- HOWEVER the moment you upgrade to more it's very difficult to keep up.
(IN ADDITION: I wish we were able to see a list on the PC of the products that have price change, instead of having to memorize them when you start a new day and not being able to check them later in case you didn't have enough time to look in the beginning.)
ADDITIONAL IDEA: Maybe instead of having to always go to the PC, we could have a carry on tablet to check the prices and then be able to physically go to every item needed to change the tags individually. It would be more efficient for those that have a lot of product licences aquired.

3. CASHIERS ARE VERY SLOW. I am store level 40 and I upgraded my LICENSES a lot to the point where not even 3 cashiers can keep up with the customers in the checkout lines! They work extremely slow and it causes some customers to glitch out of the store and/or to be stuck at the entrance window. I sincerely wish they worked a little bit faster the more you upgrade and higher your store level.

4. SHIPMENT OF PRODUCTS. I hate that they get stacked on top of each other and they just fall on the ground everywhere! Maybe there can be a warehouse/storehouse nearby the store or across the road where the boxes get shipped and placed after purchase OR maybe there could be a truck that delivers them and waits outside for you to go pick them up whenever you need to so that we avoid a huge pile of boxes in the middle of the road that cars drive by over them!

5. IMPROVE CUSTOMER PURCHASES. Realistically, it seems odd that one customer decides to buy 5 packs of toilet paper at once. And customers that buy one salt and give a 100 bill so you have to give more than 90 back.. Even in real life this would be frustrating. Maybe improve it so that a customer purchases more variety of products and less of the amount of one?

6. PRODUCT SHELVING/STORING. It's frustrating that I have to buy 10 boxes of toilet paper, chicken and potatoes every day, but somehow ONE box of pizza has so many inside that not even a double freezer can maintain? Maybe make it so that products like chicken, potatoes and toilet paper can stack on top of each other and/or next to each other so that we avoid buying many boxes of one item daily and for other products only one box every 3 days.
FOR INSTANCE: Make it so that a sack of potatoes can stack next to other 3 or even 4 more on top. Just like IRL you can place sacks of potatoes on top of and next to. Maybe add a different way of storing the potatoes, like a plastic rack instead of a shelf.
(IN ADDITION: You could add more variety to toilet paper, just like IRL where you can find packs of 4,6,8,10 toilet paper. I feel like the one we have in game is so big and requires so much space. I have to buy 4-6 boxes everyday since one customer has the tendency to purchase 5 packs of toilet paper at once.

BUGS/GLITCHES THAT I FOUND:
1. You are able to climb on top of trees! I don't know if that's intentional.
2. Constant car crashes at the intersections outside of the store area. Cars seem to just crash into each other and they get stuck, causing the main supermarket road to have cars in line.
3. Customers glitch way too often! Either when checkout lines are full or when they don't seem to find an item they want. Many of them at once get stuck in one place and not even past 9pm can help them glitch out. You just have to skip the day.
4.I mentioned this earlier but when checkout lines are full, customers have the tendency to glitch out of the store for the entire day.
When the checkout line gets full, the possibility of this glitch can happen: (it happened 2 times to me already) - The checkout line gets full so the customers glitch outside at the checkout and incoming customers don't enter the marker, they do their shopping as normal+ checking out but from outside the store. The only way to fix it is to somehow move the checkout itself into a different position and skip to the next day.

I am aware this game is in early development/early access and there is room to improve. I will continue playing this game regardless, as I love it so much. I hope these ideas can be shared across this community and maybe see some changes in the future! Definitely buy this game!

I am not the best at expressing my thoughts and opinions, however I want to write an honest review on this game after playing it for some time.
I bought this game solely because I spent more than 3000 hours playing Dead by Daylight, and as someone that enjoys the game a lot (despite it's toxic community and overall insane amount of bugs) I still enjoy the design of the game. Hence why I wanted to give BHVR a chance with this game, thinking that it could be just as good and I was not wrong.
I love the design of the game, I love the ideas and the concept. I have not faced a single glitch/bug and overall had so much fun playing alone and with my friend! I enjoy this game so much so that I wish it was truly multiplayer. I wish BHVR could implement a 4-player mode because some of the bases are truly hard to raid and when playing with your best friends it can be truly an amazing experience! I am in spite of adding 4-player mode and if it does ever happen I am certain my hours in Meet Your Maker will rise up to 100 in 2 weeks. I would definitely make more content of it for my YouTube channel while playing with my friends and would definitely recommend it forward to my community.
If you are curious, I suggest watching some MYM content on YT first before purchasing the game. If you find it interesting then ask a friend to join you and I will then recommend it with no doubt to you!

I bought this in 2018 and i want to start playing insurgency again. I've been playing sandstorm and it's really good I definitely recommend it.
