Goodbye, life.
Time is subjective.

Like SS13 (extreme and obvious inspiration), but 2D (platformer, not isometric), in an alien ocean (instead of space), and a small dose of existential horror.

Exceptionally fun with friends, bots are infuriatingly bad.

Actually created for people who actually play and want this.

It adds huge conveniences, and for someone who actually loves Fallout 76 (me), a constant stipend of Atoms and additional content.

The private server access and scrap box are just cherries on top, although I will admit that the scrap box should be free - it's just arbitrary code on the back side, it assigns a quantity integer to a generic itemID, takes up a dozen bytes of disk space, and contributes a few bytes of bandwidth. Or at the very least, make it something you can buy with Atoms, which themselves are earnable via gameplay.

I've played this game since it came out last year, and it's a genuinely good game.
The worst problem I've ever experienced, is very rarely a corpse T-posing.

I only switched to playing it on Steam, because I like the centralization of games updating, and sometimes I forget my Bethesda launcher credentials.

There are lots of seething ragemonkeys who get off on the nonsensical tribal hatred of Bethesda.
It's really easy to buy the game, leave a negative review, then refund the game, just to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
If you are swayed by that, I don't care, I'm not trying to convince anyone, because it doesn't change my enjoyment of this game.
I'm simply leaving a positive review because it's the fair thing to do.

Excellent game mechanics, engrossing story and lore, multiple endings (some far more distinct than others), excellent DLC content, deeply detailed open world design.

I'm not going to bother commenting on the regurgitated bandwagon criticisms of anger-addicted children.

This is a fantastic game, and I'm going to rate it as such.

I originally gave this game a multi-tiered positive review through several paragraphs of explanation.

However, it's actually become progressively worse, in terms of sheer bugs and desyncing. It's little more than a tech demo at this point. If it ever improves, I'll change my review.

Yes, I know it's (still, after 2+ years) in Early Access.

Mind-blowingly fantastic game. Easily 500+ hours played (before it released on Steam), purchased in 2013.

Really intuitive interface and gameplay mechanics, incredible depth, brilliant AI, very solid engine, mod support, and great/reliable updates.

I have exactly zero complaints about this game, now that it's on Steam.
Everything about what this game is, is already on the store page.

I recommend to anyone and everyone, regardless of which genre of game you prefer.

It's a brilliant blend of various genres, mostly strategies/4x: Civ (4, 5, BE), Alpha Centauri, GalCiv 2 (haven't played 3), Spore (space age), Masters of Orion, Sins of a Solar Empire, and of course EU (3 and 4 particuilarly).

It has extreme attention to detail, superbly intelligent design, envigorating voice acting, sound effects, artwork, narratives, and even quests/assignments!

There is tremendous amount of depth and immersion, without the horrible tediousness and learning curve of many of the games amalgamated in to this masterpiece. The UI is gorgeous and fluid, incorporating obvious notes from pros and cons of prior UI methods. The tutorial is fun and actually helpful.

This comes from someone who is extremely difficult to please, and tends to bounce from one game to another in an search for satisfaction - I'll be stuck on this for the next 500+ hours.

My only regret is not pre-ordering the Nova or Galaxy Editions, as I was wary of being disappointed.
