good voice acting! decent characters! some fun puzzles! interesting new mechanics! an impressive amount of effort and passion!

unfortun8tely all the good ideas remained loose and were then attempted to be fit into a beat-for-beat reconstruction of portal 2's plot, and the work as a whole suffers heavily for it. like, just about every detail has a direct analogue in portal 2, small or large, whether it works for the story they're trying to tell or not. and often, it does not.

the story's poor cohesion is often felt in the gameplay, as well. there are *many* sequences that meander around, crucial inform8tion to progress is sometimes poorly telegraphed, and a lot of the time its simply a janky and unintuitive space to navig8. level design is a language, and this mod often mumbles.

overall, i'd describe the experience as "crusty". an invaluable learning experience, but chunkier than the sum of its parts. disjointed. confused. ungood. softly tragic in context of its hype and its own quality bits. alas.
