Stardew Valley is a game with a ton of content and a charming atmosphere.

It involves a lot of grinding (through gold/time sinks). After just a few hours of play, I opened a save editor and offered myself infinite gold, to focus on the story quests instead of farming solely for money.

The early stages force you to walk slowly through the map as the clock ticks, talk to NPCs and help them gather specific items. Many characters are in impredictible locations or locked inside their room so you have to come back a different day. This clashes with the idea of planning your actions, which is absolutely required for farming.

Later you can unlock teleportation, shortcuts, efficient tools, befriend NPCs, marry other players or marry NPCs. Eventually, I got married and had 2 children.

I most certainly did not reach the nuclear throne.

I was murdered by a baby worm, a car and occasionally by my own grenade launcher.

It took me 2 hours to clear the first level. Using a legendary weapon and some luck.

I am the worst cop in Mega City.

This game is a crude initiation to the rest of your life on Earth. Competition, teamwork, treachery, luck, bullying, patience and absurdness

On the visual side, Mediatonic's work is also quite aesthetically pleasing

At first, this game will teach you patience and precision.

Then eventually, it will teach you how to scream, destroy your mouse and give up.

It's a great game!

Only 30 minutes and I already want to destroy my computer

In this game, you can savagely stab every living creature, blow ducks with dynamite, become an uncontrollable ghost, walk at random places outside of the screen because you forgot the bucket, die in space after running out of oxygen, while your friends are trying to save a train which is doomed anyway because the designer forgot to implement brakes.
