I was smite 1 pilled 10+ years ago, played the first closed beta and for the next few years pretty heavily. I stopped playing for a handful of years doing other life stuff, but when I saw Smite 2 was being made I had to come check it out again. It has reminded me why I loved the first game, but is also better in so many ways. Every time I play it's like Anton Ego tasting the ratatouille and bringing me back.
