Simple, effective, timeless.

I've played a lot of farming RPGs and life sim games that follow overall similiar gameplay loops. You inherit land, use the land to earn money, start a life with the neighbors, rinse and repeat. Stardew has a certain charm to it that always brings me back to it eventually. Does it do everything perfectly? No, but it does everything quite well. The soundtrack, the developer's commitment to his playerbase, and the ultimate replayability by choosing new farm maps or randomizing objectives makes this an easy purchase at full price.

Games that cost $40-$60 offer less replayability or fun than Stardew, and the game is frequently on sale for even lower prices. I highly recommend to anyone. The only exception is for those who look at the core gameplay and have played other games with similiar gameplay and didn't enjoy it for various reasons: "boring", "not engaging", etc. This game isn't going to magically convert you, but for the majority of people reading this and considering purchasing the game. Get it. You won't regret it.

In case all of that wasn't convincing enough, I've willingly bought this game on all platforms: PC, Xbox, Mobile, Switch, Playstation, and I've also gifted like 6 copies to friends on steam. I'll likely keep expanding the amount of copies I've bought at some point in the future.
